Orchard's Edge is in the heart of Apple Hill with breathtaking local views. Relax with family and friends at our quiet and peaceful home. Walk in to find a modern home with a large open-floor concept and lots of amenities, including washer-dryer, work space, hot tub and a gorgeous shaded balcony! We are steps away from micro-breweries, wineries, apple-picking orchards, pumpkin patches, and Christmas tree farms. Or just enjoy the patio while watching the sunset. The space Enjoy access to our entire home (1650 sq feet) with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, comfortably hosting up to 8 guests, with AC and heating for 4-season comfort. Our fully equipped kitchen will allow you to enjoy meals at a formal dining table and/or at the more intimate breakfast nook. Have coffee your way: French-press or coffee maker, and we have a kettle for tea too! If you’re in town for a fancy event (we love a good wedding!), note we also have an ironing board with iron, and a clothes steamer. House Layout: Top main floor: kitchen, living room, dining room, breakfast nook, master bedroom (queen bed) with en-suite bathroom, 1/2 bath with washer and dryer. Downstairs: guest bedroom with queen bed and work space, guest bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds, bathroom and direct backyard access A number of board games and puzzles are also available to keep you busy into the evenings. There are also a number of outdoor hangout spots: the top deck is the best to catch sunsets. The side-house double table is best to keep in the shade in this hot summer days. The picnic table next to the hot tub is a great casual spot to eat the persimmons you just grabbed from the edge of the property (we also have 1 Apple and 1 Pear tree along the fence line to Denver Dan’s). Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home with the exception of the garage and a separate-entrance storage room. Other things to note Are you a cyclist or a runner? Welcome to world-class roads and trails! - Road cycling: ride directly out the front door and explore the beauty of Apple Hill. If you want more aggressive or longer rides, consider riding down to Coloma and up Prospector, or for steep and short, try riding down 193, then head east on Rock Creek road, and back across the American River on Mosquito road. All of these rides can be found on Ride with GPS. - Running: hop on a perfect 6 km/3.75 mile loop right out the front door, or drive over to Sly Park to run 8 miles of gorgeous trails around Jenkinson Lake. -Mountain Biking: Head straight to Sly park to ride around the lake or to Fleming Meadows where you'll find miles of single track trails.
