Glan Gwna cottage is set in Glan Gwna Holiday Park, an exquisite and private countryside holiday home park in a secluded wooded valley in North Wales, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and two miles from Caernarfon. Home to some remarkable views Glan Gwna is the perfect place to visit if you are looking for a peaceful trip away with plenty to see and do for your family should you choose. The space Our location is one of our most important assets. Glan Gwna is enviably located in 120 acres of landscaped grounds; including woodland, a lake, and streams and rivers. You are welcome to explore the park, and the paths, and enjoy the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere you will find here. The poolside bar and restaurant is open daytimes and evenings, up to seven days a week - during the main season - and offers a great choice of home-cooked snacks, lunches and evening meals, with a weekly menu and takeaway option. The bar and restaurant hosts occasional evening entertainments throughout the year, with all events advertised well in advance. The outdoor pool is heated to a comfortable temperature and open from Whitsun to September. The pool is family-friendly, and always staffed by a pool attendant. The children’s play area is well equipped with a good range of modern play equipment including climbing frames, slides, swings and toddler play equipment. The play area features safety matting throughout and is gated and fenced. The on-site shop is kept well stocked with daily essentials, fresh produce, daily papers and – of course – ice-cream! Other things to note Electric has to be paid for by guests on pre paid cards . Cards can be purchased from the on-site shop, poolside bar or reception office there is also a texaco petrol station in town when out of season, cards are available as £5 £10 or £20 , in the winter months the average cost over night is £10-£15 obviously, depending on the usage of hot tub and central heating in the Summer £8-£11 The hot tub will be at 35c when you arrive.
