Cabin in Lower Lake

Nostalgic lakefront home with private dock with plenty of room for friends and family ! Relax in the large waterfront back yard for outdoor games, entertaining and plenty of privacy. The two upstairs bedrooms have king size beds. The downstairs bonus room is a third bedroom with 4 twin built-in bunk beds and secondary living room - the perfect place to relax with friends and enjoy the lake views. The Sunrises and Moonrises here are spectacular! The space PARKING (4+ cars) Our home is located on a small private road. There are three parallel parking spaces before the detached garage and one parallel parking space opposite the entrance gate. DOGS We are dog friendly! Our pet fee is $100 per well-trained dog. Please pick up after your fur babies! BOATS Redbud has the closest public Boat Launch. Bring your buoys and rope and tie up to our private dock for the duration of your stay! BBQ We have a charcoal BBQ! Please plan to bring your own charcoal 🙂 LAKELIFE If you’re staying with us in the summer you may see a good amount of midges or “lake flies” but don’t worry, they’re harmless (non-biting and do not carry disease)! Other things to note Clear Lake is a natural lake and subject to algae blooms, typically in July and August. The lake can be accessed by kayak or boat even when swimming is not advised. Blooms are usually localized so you can still travel by boat or car to a different part of the lake without a bloom. Our location of the lake is nice and deep with a good current so while it is unlikely there will be a bloom during your stay, it is impossible to predict. In extreme heat you may see a heavier presence of algae around the dock - this is normal and not all algae is harmful so please do your research and use your best judgment. Like almost all the lakefront homes on Clear Lake we pull our water from the lake. It goes through a filtration system that is professionally maintained, but we still recommend drinking bottled water!
