Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Rath Bán , situated & nestled under the Hills of Donegal, surrounded by Irish Native trees on completely private grounds, that are not overlooked, & is the ideal setting to relax, enjoy the peace of nature & fill your senses with a feast of tranquility, where all you,ll hear is the rustle of the trees, swaying in time to the birds song.... Unfortunately we are unable to cater for children under 12 years due to safety concerns. The space Rath Bán is a cosy traditional, but modern styled cottage, with log burners in kitchen dining & sitting room areas, & a full central heated system. Rath Bán has all the mod cons needed to help make your stay feel like a home from home... There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with full ensuite, & the other facilitated by a large bathroom, containing a shower & victorian styled bath. The sitting room area contains TV, DVD player & a varied selection of movies. Situated on a Country laneway, it is completely private, with a back garden & terrace/ barbeque area, and the back of the property, overlooks a large green area and an abundance of natural beauty, to satisfy all nature enthusiasts. Rath Bán is on the boundary, & a short 5 minute walk, down an idyllic country laneway,( which is swamped with Irish wild flowers), to the centre of the friendly heritage town of Ardara, widely known as " Home of the Festivals", where there are award winning restaurants & bars, providing traditional Irish & folk singalong sessions.....Woollen Mills with live demonstrations are a must see, as well of some of the most spectacular blue flag beaches, including Narin Portnoo, which has 1 of the most outstanding links golf courses in Ireland....Horse Trecking along a golden sandy beach, spectacular hill walks, boat trips to the famous Sliabh Liag cliffs, cycling routes along the Wild Atlantic Way...Ardara now has its own irish whiskey distilllery, which is a 5 minute walk from our front door, & well worth a visit...all on your doorstep at Rath Bán in Ardara. Unfortunately, Rath Bán is unable to cater for children under 12 years old... Guest access All downstairs facilities, all surrounding garden area & terrace. Other things to note There is details of all local amenities, including local taxi numbers, bus schedules, restaurants & bar recommendations, listings & maps of tours etc provided at the house. Please note, Rath Bán is adult only accomodation & we are unable to host children under 12 years old.
