Escape to our serene geodome! Tucked away on 5 private acres, this tranquil retreat is the perfect getaway for couples or a small group of 4. Unwind in the cowboy pool, soak in the hot tub, or cozy up around the fire pit. Inside, enjoy a comfortable living area, a king-sized bed, a loft w/ queen bed, a full-size bathroom, and a kitchen nook overlooking picturesque views and plenty of space to roam. Our geodome is the perfect natural oasis for your next getaway! (Optional game barn available) The space Welcome to our beautiful geodome on 5 acres of secluded land in Wimberley, Texas! This unique accommodation offers a one-of-a-kind experience for couples looking for a peaceful getaway or a small group of friends. The dome is equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Unlike most domes that are situated next to other units, this dome is completely by itself on 5 acres! As you step inside the dome, you'll be greeted by a cozy living area that includes a king-size bed with soft linens and pillows that will ensure you get a good night's sleep. There is also a loft with a queen-sized mattress that can accommodate two additional guests. Our dome is designed to provide a natural and airy atmosphere, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. You can spend your days lounging on the deck, taking a dip in the cowboy pool, or soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the peaceful scenery. The dome includes access to BOTH a Hot Tub & a Cowboy Pool. Hot Tub is located on the patio of our main house. Please note when you rent the dome you have the ENTIRE property to yourself. The Cowboy pool is located directly in front of the dome as a part of the deck. Please note the Cowboy Pool is drained in the Winter, November-February. The dome has both AC/Heat as well as two fans and features a fully stocked kitchen nook including a mini fridge/freezer, coffee pot, griddle, and toaster oven. While we do not have an oven inside, we do offer a propane grill on the outside deck for your grilling needs! Please note that in the hot Texas summers, we have AC, however, it can still get warm during the day as the sun beats down on the dome. It typically cools off at night, as we do provide fans along with the AC. Remember you're glamping! You'll also find a Bluetooth speaker, flat-screen TV, and wifi (although we hope you won't need it during your stay, also note that wifi speeds can vary as we're in a very rural area) At night, gather around the fire pit and roast marshmallows while enjoying the star-filled sky. This is the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with your loved ones. (Please note you must bring your own firewood) In addition to the amenities provided in the dome, you'll have access to the entire 5-acre property, which is surrounded by trees and has plenty of space to explore and nature to see, such as deer. Also located on our property is an OPTIONAL game barn that includes a pool table, dart board, shuffleboard, 2 TVs, arcade games, and a wet bar. If you're interested in unlocking this space, it is an additional cost. Please let us know if you're interested! Whether you're looking for a romantic retreat or a peaceful getaway with friends, our geodome is the perfect choice. The dome has also been connected to city water, so NO MORE opportunities for sulfur smell. Lastly, we do have a pest control service for the property, but please understand that, being in nature, it comes with its share of animals, bugs, reptiles, and so on. We always recommend walking around the property with shoes on and always being aware of your surroundings. We also do not recommend the dome for children under the age of 2. Guest access You'll have full access to the GeoDome, Cowboy Pool, Hot Tub, Fire Pit, 5 Acres. Also located on our property is an OPTIONAL game barn that includes a pool table, dart board, shuffleboard, 2 TVs, arcade games, and a wet bar. If you're interested in unlocking this space it is an additional cost, just let us know! Other things to note Our dome is located on a 5-acre property which also has a house and casita. The house and casita will never be rented separately while you have your dome booked, so know that you have the 5 acres to yourself. That said, if you're looking to host a larger group please let us know and we can point you to our other listing! Please note that the dome has both heat and AC, however, it is a giant tent and can be subject to extreme weather. + AC—Please note that during the hot Texas summer months, it can get hot in the dome. We do provide extra fans, and it cools off at night. However, please be understanding, as you are glamping in a glorified tent. We highly recommend keeping the curtains closed during the day if you can, as it will help keep the dome cool. + Heat—The dome has a built-in heater as well as a portable heater. However, during extreme cold temperatures, the dome can be cold. We do provide extra blankets, but please keep in mind that the dome is basically a huge tent. Keeping the curtains open when the sun is out helps heat the dome. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the dome.
