Welcome to the page for our two family-friendly vacation rentals, “Bayerischer Wald,” offered by a private owner. You will find these in the middle of a holiday complex and right next to the former Landesgartenschau grounds. “Ferienpark Geyersberg” is located above the town of Freyung, offering fantastic views of the low-mountain landscape of the Bavarian Forest. The space For both apartments, the building offers direct access (via the basement) to the pool, sauna, wellness center with massage practice, and the "Geyerei" restaurant with beautiful views. Next to the house, a huge new playground and activity park have been created, and there are hiking trails right outside the house. You can explore the beautiful area by bicycle, e-bike, or mountain bike. Skiing and tobogganing areas are very close by: 3 minutes to the Solla ski lift; 20 minutes to Mitterdorf. Indoor billiards, foosball, darts room, etc., right across the street. A mountain glassworks with a viewing glass furnace is about 100 meters away. Freyung city center is 1.5 km away and can be reached by a free shuttle bus. We have a freshly renovated apartment, "H180," measuring 53 square meters (570 square feet), featuring a bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed, as well as a fold-out sofa bed in the living room. In the same building, you will also find the slightly smaller and more affordable apartment “F123,” measuring 47 square meters (506 square feet), which has a bunk bed in a separate room (without a window) and, in the living-cum-bedroom, two fold-out cabinet beds and a sofa bed. Feel free to request a long-term rental with a discount for this purpose. My sister and I have been coming here regularly since we were children, and we still enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings of the Bavarian Forest with our families and friends today. That's why it's especially important to us that families feel comfortable in our vacation rental. We have designed everything to ensure that you have a wonderful time with us, and we are always happy to receive your feedback. In the middle of the Bavarian Forest on the Geyersberg, our apartment with wonderful views to the south awaits you. Ideal for families as a low-budget vacation - but also for long-term rent for employees, employees, training courses in the area. For sleeping, you will find two 90x200 single beds (closet fold-out beds), a sofa bed 140 x 200 and a bunk bed 90 x 200 in the adjoining room (adjoining room without window!), a baby travel cot for the very little ones is also available on request. Ideal for 2 to 4 people. We have toys, children's books as well as a high chair and children's dishes. For cozy TV or Netflix evenings (please register with your own access data), is there a flat-screen TV or would you prefer to watch DVD movies? Or just play board games? We also offer a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee filter machine, hot water cooker, toaster, microwave, oven, dishwasher and stove. Optionally, they have the possibility to have breakfast (buffet) or eat at the restaurant Geyerei (directly in the house). Laundry service can be booked (6€). There is free parking on the in-house grounds. If these are not enough, there are as an alternative: in the new parking garage 150 m away, - equipped with electric charging stations (cheap daily fees). With the guest card of the city of Freyung, you can use the public transport lines in the Bayerwald ticket area free of charge. In addition to the forest railway, the hedgehog buses to and in the national park, this also includes the other public transport lines in the district of Freyung-Grafenau, Regen and partly Cham and in Freyung as well as in Freyung. Bicycles can be stored free of charge in the holiday complex underground garage, for e-bikes there is a charging facility there, as well as in the city downstairs by the church and at the town hall. Bicycles can be rented by bike Seibold. Have a great stay! Other things to note Next to the house is a new playground, activity park, billiards, foosball room, hiking, skiing or tobogganing areas in the immediate vicinity (Solla ski lift, 3 minutes; Mitterdorf 20 minutes and Großer Arber 60 minutes away). A mountain glass hut with a glass stove is about 100 meters away. The city center of Freyung, 1.5 km away, is accessible by a free shuttle bus.
