Nestled within the walls of a former stables, your cosy haven boasts two bright and airy rooms upstairs. The master bedroom is adorned with a comfortable king-sized bed and, the second, a snug double bed. Both rooms have ample wardrobe and storage space, excellent lighting, charging points and laundry bins. Prepare your favourite meals in the fully equipped kitchen, where you'll find everything you need to unleash your culinary prowess. Relax and unwind in the living area, complete with a 47" TV featuring an Amazon Firestick and access to Netflix, allowing you to indulge in your favourite shows and movies (please note, there is no live TV). Stay connected with superfast broadband, ensuring you have seamless internet access throughout your stay. The bathroom is a true oasis, with a walk in shower, as well as vanity and modern fixtures. We have electric smart heating to always maintain a comfortable temperature whatever the weather. As you explore the space, take in the captivating irregularities of the charming walls, the large original hay loft bedroom window and the old stable door, a testament to the rich history and personality of this remarkable accommodation. Prepare to be captivated by the charm of our private enclosed yard with our summer flower beds and vegetable and herb patch. Here, you can unwind in our comfortable outdoor seating area, among the aroma of lavender and sweet pea - perfect for savouring a morning coffee or relishing a delicious barbecue feast. For the adventurous souls, the yard is enclosed and secure to store bikes, with accessible step-free entry onto the neighbouring alleyway - allowing you to explore the stunning landscapes of County Antrim on two wheels just like when the famous Giro D’Italia Race passed through town back in 2014! Guest access You get the whole building to yourselves! We might pass eachother in the outside yard, but we'll always make an effort to respect your privacy and leave you to enjoy your stay in peace. Other things to note Please be aware that two very friendly dogs live on-site in separate buildings. One of the most extraordinary aspects of our retreat is its prime location in the heart of our village centre, under the shadow of the curfew tower. Within a short stroll from your doorstep, you'll discover an array of amenities and traditional pubs brimming with Irish hospitality. Please note there may be some noise from neighbouring pubs during some busier weekends, the village Heart of the Glens Festival and bank holidays – the price of being so well located. The noise stops around one o’clock and there’s a good chance you’ll be part of the fun yourself during your stay! Note, there is no smoking on the property.
