Of course, it is possible to combine fresh and comfortable accommodation with rural idyll, close to meadows, forest and lake! In 2022, we started an exciting project to convert the barn on my grandfather's family farm into a luxurious holiday home. In May 2023, we finished one apartment and in the fall, the other. The possibilities are many: enjoy the tranquility of forest walks, by the lake or on the balcony in the evening sun and combine with excursions in the surrounding area and southern Sweden. Charging the car is included in the price. The space The property consists of two apartments on the ground floor, which are rented separately. On the west side, there is a large terrace with a barbecue area and views down to the lake. Outside the balcony, we have planted a flower meadow. Parking space with the possibility to charge an electric car is included in the price. Guests are expected to bring sheets and towels, as well as to clean up after themselves. Dish towels and cleaning materials are on site. In 2023, we won the municipality's architecture and building conservation award! Here's the motivation: With feeling and great respect for the building's original details and characteristics, the old barn has been transformed into well-planned and pleasant residential apartments. A meeting room on the building's upper floor has also been renovated with retained original wooden construction details, where neighbors and residents in the area can proudly gather in a pleasant environment. The innovation of an old house is clearly experienced while the cultural environment is preserved and integrated with elements of contemporary interior design. The atmosphere breathes countryside with expressive material handling and craft details. The building is skillfully adapted to its new area of use with the reuse of existing materials in a tasteful interior. Other things to note As a guest, you are expected to clean up after yourself. We provide cleaning materials and cleaning products. Failure to clean or inadequate cleaning will be charged SEK 1,500. Dish towels are provided, but guests bring their own towels and linens. We offer a quiet accommodation and a peaceful environment. Recommended minimum age of 25 years.
