The space A recently refurbished and extended cottage on the main Aberystwyth road, with stunning views over the River Dovey (UNESCO Biosphere Reserve). Breathtaking views across the estuary and to the Snowdonia Mountains, perfectly located to enjoy all of nature's finest attractions. Log burning stove and cinema projector for those cosy nights. One mile to Gareth Ward's two Michelin star restaurant, Ynyshir. Ten minutes to Dyfi Bike Park. Accessible by train from London Euston to the doorstep in 4 hours! The previous owner renovated this cottage over the course of 2 years, having been derelict and not lived in for some 30 years. Some work had already begun, but it was a labor of love and frustration in parts turning it around and getting it to the place it is today. The downside is it is on a road, but the views across the estuary and across to the Southern Snowdonia Mountains mean you soon forget about that, whilst sat on the sofa or even in bed. Being mid Wales the roads aren't that busy and it goes very quiet early evening. The house was converted with comfort in mind. The huge sofa overlooking the valley is extremely comfortable and a great place to sit back and relax in the evening and make use of the cinema projector. The house also has a Sonos sound system. The open plan kitchen off the dining room and lounge is well equipped, with two ovens, microwave, wine fridge, american fridge freezer with ice maker, plate warming draw, popcorn maker, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher. The Garden / Terrace There are absolute stunning views from the garden and the elevated summer house. For those bringing their dogs, please bear in mind the garden/terrace in not fully enclosed. Important to Note: Access to the cottage is via a narrow footpath along the main road with small steps leading up to the cottage that are unavoidable. Please be careful when walking along the narrow footpath due to the road. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house included the summerhouse with log burner. Other things to note - The property is on a main road and can be heard during the day, but by early evening there are not too many passing vehicles. - The path from the property to the lay-by (parking) is narrow and very close to the road, please be careful. - For dog owners, the garden / terrace is made up of slate shingle and is NOT fully enclosed. - Mobile phone signal is very weak, but there is good WiFi. - Guest access is via key safe, giving you complete flexibility over arrival times. - Strictly no parties. - Strictly no smoking inside the property.
