Guest access Guests can access all the apartment areas and will might be interested to know about the St. Giorgio and Trifone Dalmatian School, located right out of the apartment’s windows, features the neighborhood with its uniqueness. Our house pays homage to this monument, representing a unique realm in the history of the city. The association of Dalmatian citizens guards the School’s timeless masterpieces, like the Vittore Carpaccio’s canvas, that survived the end of the Venetian Republic for over five centuries. We invite our guests to learn about this patrimony. The Venetian Schools are lay confraternities, central to the social, political, economic and religious organization of Venice. These “trade schools” were corporations, playing the role in safeguarding and developing the arts as well as a variety of trades: wool merchants, cobblers, goldsmiths, sailors, metal workers and many others. The Dalmatian School was one of the two major schools of the city. Our apartment overlooks this out-standing heritage and one of the most famous canals of the city, Rio di Sant'Antonin and we are so proud to tie up our history to this patrimony. We only added some ‘Indigo Blue’ to this breath-taking view and legendary place. Other things to note ADDITIONAL COSTS: City Taxes ARE NOT INCLUDED in the price.
