Time has stood still here - welcome to the village station of the 20th century: At a time when the railway was still the "Deutsche Bundesbahn" and passengers bought Edmondson tickets ("cardboard tickets") at the ticket counter before the train departed. The Ahütte museum station has been closed for over 50 years. Today it houses guest rooms & gastronomy, and has been largely restored to its original state. But no one has to do without modern comfort either. The space The museum station currently has 7 guest rooms. All rooms have their own separate bathroom (shower/toilet). The museum station was restored in 2020 - 2022, all bathrooms are completely new and have only been in operation since 2023. Each booking refers to only one of the rooms. If more rooms are needed, please inquire. Guest access The house consists of several guest rooms. For all guests, lounges in the station catering are available on request. (no private drinks & food allowed. Drinks & food are offered on site on request). Other things to note There is a restaurant in the house (pancake house) No smoking in the entire house. Cultural events are held regularly in the museum station. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about whether an event is planned for your travel date. Various activities can be booked for your stay at the museum station, for example: - Relaxation exercises - Stress management & coaching - The station game "The Disappeared Suitcase" with tasks to decrypt 28 safe locks - Station tours - railcar demonstrations - and much more I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
