Lovely, bright, modern, and spacious year-round air conditioned cottage home with dock on the Rideau River. Stunning waterfront sunsets. Prime location on a quiet country lane conveniently located 32 minutes from Parliament Hill/downtown Ottawa. The Rideau River in this section is one of the widest sections and the longest sections of the World Heritage recognized, Rideau Canal system. Dock your boat and stay for a few days Golf, mini-putt, motor boat rental, and horseback riding nearby. The space We have a lovely deck with a comfortable patio set and a BBQ. We have board games, movies and a Wii for rainy days. Use our high-speed internet to stay connected, or watch Netflix (your account) on the large screen tv. Enjoy making morning breakfast in the modern, well-equipped kitchen, a cold drink on the dock, and relax by the fire pit. Enjoy stunning waterfront sunsets, walks, boating (we have kayaks and a canoe), fishing, relaxing, and unwinding. There is no swimming due to weeds, but you can kayak to the nearby Rideau River Provincial Park beach. Be sure to get an Ontario Fishing License if you want to fish. Guest access Door code will be activated for you (or optional key) to access unit. Access view boat or ski doo just part the Kemptville creek or vechicle via lane off Rideau river road.
