The space Apartment Description: The apartment is housed in an attractive Victorian building on one of the loveliest streets of Crouch End. It's central but incredibly peaceful and green. It has recently refurbished full of original features and has incredibly high ceilings and has enormous windows that flood the apartment with light. It comes fully equipped with a brand new kitchen, 1 bathroom and 1 shower room for guests, 2 double bedrooms and a stunning reception room. This grand room has french windows opening onto a beautiful Edwardian Terrace that leads onto a private garden and then onto a further communal garden. The terrace gets the morning sun and is perfect for breakfast before you set off for the day. It's incredibly tranquil and private and in the evening makes for a perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine to enjoy the beautiful garden views. Alternatively Crouch end is 5 minutes walk if you tire of the lovely garden views and want to try out one of the many local cafes or restaurants. Or if your feeling full of energy and want more of our vibrant city... your only 7 stops to London's West End. Location Description: This apartment is located in the trendy area of Crouch End which in recent years seems to have become a haven for writers, actors and media folk. Crouch End is a self contained leafy suburb of London centered around the Clock Tower and surrounded by many wonderful restaurants and cafes and local shopping for all your needs. Highgate Tube is a pleasant 12 minute walk from the apartment and Kings Cross is only 5 stops, a further 3 stops will take you into Leicester Square and the West End. The British Library, British Museum, Covent Garden Opera House. The main museums and galleries, Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, Oxford Street, Picadilly Circus, are within easy reach - Tate Modern is reached on the same line alighting at Waterloo. If you want to stay closer to home there is plenty to explore in the many nearby north london villages. The beautiful village of Highgate is 20 minutes walk from the apartment and home to the famous Highgate Cemetery where Karl Marx is buried. Highgate has many local restaurants and charming pubs... The Flask is one of London's oldest pubs with a beautiful garden and all day dining. The perfect place to relax after a walk in Highgate woods or a trip to Highgate Cemetery or the Heath. Even closer to home is Hampstead Heath a short 5 minutes by road is full of Londoners enjoying the sun in the summer months. The village of Hampstead is on the edge of the Heath and has charming cobbled winding streets and cozy restaurants and old English pubs. Lots of designer shops will offer a good opportunity for retail therapy or hours spent in antique bookshops and local galleries. The Keats house is a must and Sigmund Freud museum in the vicinity an interesting place to start your Hampstead tour and follow the steps of D.H Lawrence and Katherine Mansfield browsing the cobbled stoned streets of Hampstead village. Primrose Hill is 15 minutes by car where the locals take a stroll and picnic on Parliament Hill. Or you can spend your time browsing the boutique shops or celebrity spotting in it's many alfresco cafe's. Nearby is Camden with its famous street market. Not to mention the beautiful Regents Park and its many attractions and if you are feeling energetic you can walk from here into central London or pop in London Zoo. Guest access I am happy for the guests to make themselves at home and and enjoy a london Crouch End experience. During your stay It depends how busy I am but will always aim to make everyone feel welcome and help them discover the city.
