Holiday Bungalow in Scurlage

Parkview offers a home from home stay, set in the popular Gower Holiday Village. Ideally located for exploring the scenic Gower countryside and beautiful award-winning beaches. A perfect stay for the whole family, surfers, walkers, cyclists or a couple’s sea-side escape to relax and explore the outdoors. Onsite facilities including outdoor park, indoor soft play area, convenience store with in-house bakery, and chip shop takeaway. The space Parkview is a recently refurbished, extensively equipped self-catered bungalow, with 2 bedrooms, open plan living area, kitchen, bathroom with a shower, small entrance hall, lots of storage and outdoor spaces to the front and rear of the property. Lounge/kitchen: Open plan kitchen and living room area. Well equipped kitchen, including oven, pizza oven, small fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, stick blender, steamer, measuring scales and spoons, utensils and other cooking equipment. The kitchen is fully stocked with individually packaged tea, coffee, speciality teas, and sugar. Tea towels, oven gloves and cleaning cloths are also provided. The bungalow is also equipped with a washer/dryer, iron, ironing board and outdoor clothes airer. The comfortable lounge area has a double recliner sofa and two recliner chairs, centred around an electric fireplace. There is a Freeview Smart TV with connectivity to Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 and My5. The TV also has an incorporated DVD player, 2 USB ports and HDMI connectivity (a HDMI to HDMI cable is provided). A selection of DVDs, books, board games, quizzes and card games are available. Bedrooms: The bungalow sleeps 5 people. One double bedroom and a twin room with a single bed and bunk beds. Beds are made up ready for your arrival, and towels are provided for bungalow use (please bring additional beach towels). There is adequate storage and hanging space within both bedrooms, and a hair dryer is provided. Bathroom: There is one bathroom with a large shower cubicle with electric shower, toilet and sink. Toilet roll and hand soap are provided. Outside: There are grass areas to the front and rear (communal) of the property ideal for alfresco dining, drinks or BBQ. Guests have the use of outdoor and beach equipment including sun loungers, folding chairs, a sun/wind shelter and body board. New electric heaters have been installed throughout the property to ensure a comfortable temperature throughout your stay. Onsite facilites: The Gower Holiday Village offers a number of onsite facilities including an indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, games room, indoor soft play area*, outdoor children’s play area. The pool area is free to guests and open from April to end of September. Please note use of the Indoor Soft Play Area is at an additional cost, payable at reception. Other onsite facilities include a laundrette, convenience store with in-house bakery, chip shop takeaway, and hairdressers. Guest access Ample private parking for at least 2 cars next to the bungalow. Sadly the bungalow is not suitable for wheelchair use due to step access. Other things to note • Small children welcome, however a travel cot is not provided. • Free wifi provided within the bungalow. • Camping facilities for caravans and motorhomes are available on site and located to the rear of the bungalow. • Onsite facilities are managed by the Gower Holiday Village. If due to unforeseen circumstances any of the onsite facilities become unavailable through no fault of ours no compensation can be given. • During low season some local attractions may operate reduced hours or close.
