Bed and breakfast

This elegant accommodation is located in the very center of Arras, 50 m from the Grand Place. The bedroom is located in the attic of my house and is accessed by a staircase, which is the only common area shared with me. It has a double bed and a single bed on the mezzanine, accessible via a ladder. Separate shower and toilet. TV, Wi-Fi, small fridge, kettle and breakfast utensils. The space One room. Option of separate beds (one double bed and one single bed). The single bed is located at a height, with access via a ladder, which can be inconvenient for some people. Bicycles can be stored safely at a neighbor's house (upon request). Underground parking is nearby, which can accommodate bicycles. Other (free) parking lots are located a little further away. Guest access The bedroom's entrance door is located on the second floor. A spiral staircase provides access to the main room (therefore, the 3rd floor). The toilet, located at the bottom of the spiral staircase, is for the exclusive use of the tenant. A second door gives access to my bedroom, but it is normally locked from the inside when there are tenants. If not, due to an oversight during room preparation, the guest can simply close the latch to prevent access to the bathroom from my room. During your stay If there is a problem, it is always possible to reach me and meet me since I live in this house with my wife. This can prevent misunderstandings, and some issues can be resolved through a simple discussion. Other things to note The accommodation can possibly accommodate a third person (1 double bed and 1 single bed), but it is better suited for two people. The double bed is standard (140 X 190 cm), so it may seem small. PVC pipes are visible: they correspond to the house's mechanical ventilation system, but it should be noted that no air exhaust opens into the accommodation, as it is discharged, as is normal, through an external duct. The visible open pipe is a suction pipe and not a discharge pipe. The controlled mechanical ventilation is turned off when the room is occupied to avoid noise pollution. A switch allows it to be activated if necessary, especially to remove moisture after using the shower.
