Artist House

The Artist House is nestled on a quiet country road, down a long driveway with many unique details that will inspire your creativity. The many gardens attract wild life like humming birds, deer, fox and toads. It is centrally located to Woodstock, Kingston, Stone Ridge, a short bike trip to the Ashokan Reservoir 20 minutes to Belleayre Skiing, and 15 minutes to NYS thruway. The space Thru the woods, down a long driveway sits The Artist House, surrounded by gardens that can be seen from every room, giving you the feel that you are in them. The open floor plan offers a kitchen, living room and bonus room to hang out in. There is a working fireplace for chilly nights and a bathroom that has a deep soaking tub and a door to the back yard making one feel integrated with nature. Upstairs are two bed rooms, a loft, and a shared bath room and a large deck. The Master Bedroom has a king sized bed, artful wood wall details and a private deck that over looks the gardens with an enclosed green house. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed , its own closet and dresser and is very quiet. The house is hand crafted from re-claimed wood and artful details that are interesting and loving. There are many private spaces that one can get lost in, read a book and enjoy! Guest access You will have access to all rooms except the office which will be locked. You will need a car. During your stay HI, I'm an early bird and get up and out usually before 8 or so. Coffee talk and breakfast might be a tie to connect but all good! Enjoy! Other things to note The gardens are fenced in so the deer stay on the outside and we ask that you please make sure you lock it when using it. Please do not wear heavy perfume or scented anything!
