Located at 71° north, the village is the end point of The Scenic Route Havøysund. Let Havøysund complement your visit to the North Cape. My airbnb is suitable for solo travelers, friends and couples. An ideal place for photographers, hikers, cyclists and other adventurous people, who are not afraid of the forces of nature. The space The house is spacious, bright and modern and located in a quiet spot on the west side of the island, with seasonally changing spectacular scenery. My house has 3 floors. Your room is on the 3. floor / top floor, as well as your private bathroom. The lobby with the coffee corner is also on the top floor, you can use the lobby as a workspace, if you need. So in a way, you have the whole top floor all to yourself. In special cases, I have also an extra guest room available on the top floor, if needed. Guest access You can lounge in the living room and in the kitchen, use the kitchen facilities to cook your own meals and breakfast. The living room and the kitchen are on the second floor. On the 1. floor / ground floor, guests have access to the other bathroom with a shower and a washing machine, as well as the fireplace room. When I’m at home, I can warm up the sauna for you. Or give you the instruction how to do it. You have access to the both balconies, as well. During your stay I can recommend you walks and hikes, places to see and help you along if you have any questions or requests. If you like to hike and explore, I provide you with maps and routes. Other things to note Just one more thing… I’ve noticed that guests can have different expectations when it comes to Airbnb stays in general, and also when staying in my Airbnb. As you may have seen in my reviews, I am not always at home when I host. The reason is simple: I can be very busy with my work as a fisherman, or sometimes I might be on holiday myself. Often, I don’t know these things weeks in advance—sometimes I only find out a few days before. This means that, at times, guests need to be a bit more independent. In practice, this includes putting on and taking off the bedlinen, placing used linens and towels in the laundry bin, sorting the recycling in the kitchen, taking out the garbage, and leaving the kitchen, bathrooms, and guest room in a tidy condition. On the positive side, if I’m not at home, you’ll have full privacy, and the guest areas and the house all to yourself! So please take this into consideration before making a reservation.
