Tucked away in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains, our spacious, single level home invites you to slow down and savor the beauty of nature. Whether you’re hiking through Shenandoah, exploring nearby vineyards, relaxing in the hot tub or enjoying a summer time dip in the pool, this is your perfect place to relax. Our home features three inviting bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a coffee and tea station, charcoal and gas outdoor grills, a fire pit, pool, and 4acres of fenced yard to enjoy. The space The space 🌄 LOCATION & SETTING - Tucked in the Blue Ridge Mountains, near Shenandoah National Park & wineries - House is on is 4 acres of fully fenced yard - Large outdoor space with Adirondack chairs, wrought iron chairs, tables, a rocking chair and a 4 person hot tub ⛰️ OUTDOOR HIGHLIGHTS - Ever-changing mountain views, stunning at sunrise & sunset - 4-person hot tub with massage jets and lighting - Wood fire pit with Adirondack chairs - Cement grilling area 🛋️ INDOOR COMFORTS - Bright, sunken lounging area with high ceiling, heated floor, rustic stonework & smooth sofa for movie nights - Entertainment: 55" TV - Game room with dart board, puzzles, and plenty of board games - Hard and soft cover books on a variety of topics - Crib/playpen set for a small child - Pet amenities provided (beds, food trays) 🛏️ BEDROOM & BATHS - Primary bedroom: Queen bed, chaise, separate dressing area, skylight (see the stars while in bed!), huge walk-in closet - Guest room 1: Full bed, memory foam mattress, skylight, big closet - Guest room 2: Full bed, memory foam mattress, workstation, large closet - One Full bath with tub and one full bath with walk-in shower 🍴 KITCHEN & DINING - Fully stocked chef’s kitchen + pantry essentials - Full size appliances, induction stove, quality cookware & chef knives - Indoor dining tables with seating for six ☕ COFFEE & Tea - Small coffee grinder, French press, Keurig, and drip coffee makers, coffee and tea provided 🚗 PRACTICAL AMENITIES - EV charging - Washer/dryer with detergent - Broadband internet connection Other things to note ⏱️ MINIMUM STAY & RATES - Two-night stays are available, though 3+ nights offer the best value and nightly rate 🏡 GUEST RULES - Max occupancy is 6 guests - no additional visitors. No more than 6 people at our home. Breaking this rule will end your stay with no refund - 2 pets allowed with additional pet fee (our place is not recommended for those allergic to dogs). We are happy to accommodate your pets during your stay. Please do not leave them unattended either inside or outside. Our home is unfamiliar to them, and being alone will only add to their stress, which then might lead to a financially adverse outcome. - Liability waiver required for hot tub & pool (please sign within 48 hours of booking) - Not suitable for unsupervised children 12 and under - no amenities, safety concerns. Please ask about the pool availability. We normally open the pool on Memorial day and close in on Labor day. Guest access The garage and work shed are off limits, but you'll have access to the rest of the 4 acres. Park in the driveway not on the grass. It's best to park in front of the garage doors so that you'll have a great view from the porch. Other things to note Our home is close to lots of local places. 6 minutes to Moss Vineyards, 7 minutes to Hark Vineyards, and 11 minutes to the local grocery store. For visiting Shenandoah National Park, it's a 15 minute easy drive. It's 21 minutes to the Charlottesville Airport, 34 minutes to Massanutten Resort, 90 minutes to Manassas or Richmond. These driving times are from an online map. By helicopter, the travel times are shorter. We do have exterior cameras that cover the front and back yards. There also are some motion detection lights on the porch and between the house and garage. It's best to leave the exterior lights off when not needed. Otherwise, you'll attract lots of bugs to the light. You are staying in the country, try to embrace the darkness and enjoy the stars.
