The fully fitted kitchen has an extendable dining table for plenty of cooking and eating space, and the central sitting room is furnished with leather sofas, a log burner and Smart TV. Bedroom One is accessed by four stairs down, offering a king size bed and views over the garden. Next door, the new bathroom has a large shower. Upstairs, the first floor features a huge triple bedroom with a study desk/workspace, and views across the paddocks and the rest of the smallholding. Outside, the large open garden is flanked by paddocks, stables and small fields home to horses, goats, pigs and sheep. In spring there is a good chance of seeing newborn lambs frolicking, with the surrounding private woodland filled with bluebells. Guest access The entire cottage and its garden is for your exclusive use during your stay. The garden is open to the rest of the owners’ smallholding farm. This includes a private residence, another holiday home, stables, fields and paddocks. While the surroundings are generally safe, some fields have electric fences, animals may nip if fingers are offered to them, there is a pond in the woods, and there may be some machinery around, so please ensure children are supervised and dogs are kept under control. Do not leave them unattended. Keep them under control at all times. Bring your own dog bed, bedding and towels.
