Systugun Garmo Søre Stuggu

Come for a unique stay in an old, historic farmhouse! This quaint old farm dates back to at least 1021, when King Olaf Haraldsson (St Olaf) came here and ordered a stave church to be built. The old church yard is still here. The farm buildings are mainly from the period 1650-1850, and several are protected. There are cows, sheep, horses and cats on the farm. Systugun Garmo may look like a museum, but is also a working farm. The space The spacious bedroom is upstairs in a charming, old farmhouse. You will also have access to the rooms on the ground floor. The house is mostly furnished with antique furniture (more or less as it was 300 years ago), including decorations from the old stave church. Guest access You will have a farmhouse (built around 1750) to yourself. Access to the bedroom is via a steep staircase, so not suitable for wheelchair users and persons with mobility issues. Private bathroom with toilet/shower right inside the front door of your host’s house, 10-15 metres from “your” house. Other things to note The farm is at the end of the road, on the right.
