Inside, an impressive transformation unfolds: where horse stalls and saddles once stood, there is now an open-plan kitchen and living room and a cozy living area. Bedrooms and bathrooms The space were integrated as modern cubes under the old barn roof and combine historic charm with contemporary comfort. The large, refurbished barn door has been preserved and today serves as a special design element with a view of the garden. Nature, garden and relaxation The approx. 1,000 sqm garden with a wooden picket fence offers various places to retreat: a covered terrace, lawn, a protected seating area behind a stone wall, a barrel sauna and an outdoor shower. The Danish designer garden furniture from Houe invites you to relax. A private path along the horse pastures leads directly to the surrounding hiking trails. Holiday door to door with animals Through lovingly designed "peepholes," you will get special insights into the neighboring animal barn. Maybe in the morning you'll be greeted by the goat or horse you met the day before – or a curious goat will watch you relax. “Guck in den Stall” is not a riding stable and there is no riding instructor on site. Upon agreement, the owner will gladly allow contact with the animals. Rebuilt with attention to detail Over two years, Silke and her family, together with local craftsmen, renovated the old barn with a lot of love for detail. Historical elements such as wood, brick and old doors have been preserved and combined with modern furnishings. New! A Wallbox for our vacation guests A Wallbox is available for our vacation guests. This is located in the courtyard on the wall by the designated parking spaces for vacation guests. The charging process is enabled via an RFID card, and the exact electricity consumption is allocated to your stay. After your stay, you will receive a corresponding bill from the owner. The RFID card is located in a separate key safe in the utility room. If you are interested in using the Wallbox, please contact us. We will then provide you with the PIN code for the key safe. The garden is about 1000 square meters and fenced with a wooden stacket fence 1.5 m high. There are various garden areas, such as the wood-covered terrace, lawn, garden swing for the little ones, sheltered seating behind a stone wall, a barrel sauna and outdoor shower. The Danish design garden furniture from Houe is a real eye-catcher. A door takes you on walking trails, past the owners' horse pastures, and can hike beautifully.
