The two-room Nicciano apartment, surrounded by a large olive grove, is a quiet and safe place, with a beautiful view of the lush valley of the Nera river. The outdoor pool in summer refreshes your days that you can spend at the Marmore Waterfall (9km), taking a walk to the nearby village of Ferentillo (1km) or walking or cycling along the quiet cart track along the Nera River. The Nicciano is one of the six accommodations of the Casale Santa Croce, immersed in an olive grove in a panoramic position overlooking the Valnerina. All apartments are independent and all equipped with a kitchen. In the area there are several and numerous dining opportunities with typical cuisine and the nearest bar for breakfast is 100 meters away. Shared with the other guests of the Casale Santa Croce are the swimming pool, the barbecue area, the relaxation area with hammocks in the olive grove, the parking lot and the free wi-fi area. In the swimming pool of the Casale Santa Croce, guests of the Nicciano apartment will find an umbrella with deckchairs and sun loungers reserved for them. Adjacent to the Nicciano apartment, guests can use the cozy barbecue area equipped with tables, chairs and a large fireplace for all their meals, in the shade of the walnut, olive trees and large oak. Guests of the farmhouse have a discount on the entrance ticket to the Marmore Waterfall, only 9 km away. Guest access The Santa Croce Apartments are located within the Nera River Park, just 9 km from the Marmore Waterfall (our guests are entitled to a discount on the entrance ticket to the Marmore Waterfall). The farmhouse has a convenient private parking lot available free of charge to all guests. If you like to take a walk, from the apartments you can walk to the bar via a private road where you can have breakfast or enjoy a good espresso. And you can also easily walk to the village of Ferentillo (1 km), where you will find groceries, a pharmacy, a bank, a rafting center, and other essential services. From Ferentillo you can take the Nera Greenway, a comfortable cart track that follows the course of the Nera River and allows you to get to the Marmore Waterfall (13 km) or the ghost town of Umbriano (5 km) or the beautiful Abbey of San Pietro in Valle (8 km) on foot or by bike. A trip is worth the Piediluco Lake where you can take a boat ride overlooking the mountain of the echo. Every day from the Santa Croce farmhouse you can visit one of the medieval castles and small villages scattered throughout the Valnerina until you reach Norcia and the Castelluccio plain. Or easily reach Spoleto (20km) or Assisi and Perugia in less than an hour. For the little ones, Activo Park (an amusement park completely surrounded by nature and without any environmental or acoustic impact) is a few kilometers away, as is Lake Piediluco. If you love strong emotions, rafting (even soft) awaits you on the Nera River, or canyoning in the cool and wild gorges of the Valnerina.
