Originally a silver mining cabin built in the mid-40s and located smack dab in the middle of world-class skiing, biking, hiking, and snowshoeing, Moose Meadow Manor has been completely overhauled and now boasts amenities like... Hot Tub Haven: Soak under the stars and soothe your muscles after an epic day on the slopes. Ski Enthusiast's Dream: Easy access to two world-renowned ski resorts. 2 minutes to Solitude and only 8 minutes to Brighton! Our cabin boasts: Location: Tucked back in the trees for unparalleled tranquility, but close enough to the main canyon road to get to the slopes in a jiffy! Gear storage/Mud room: No need to sleep with all of your gear, just leave it all in the mud room until it's time to head back up the mountain! Accommodates: With a King-size and Queen-size bed and two roll-out single beds, Moose Meadow Manor comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. Bedrooms: 2 cozy bedrooms with forest views. Bathroom: A modern and pristine bathroom with all the amenities. Living Area: A warm and inviting living room with a fireplace for post-ski relaxation. Kitchen: A gourmet kitchen stocked with top-notch appliances for culinary adventures. Deck: A spacious deck with a rejuvenating hot tub and forest vistas. Entertainment: Shuffleboard, portable pool table, Smart TV, board games, and a library for leisurely moments. Extras: Complimentary Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, and 2 parking spots. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: - An all-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive vehicle with snow tires in the winter time is required. It may snow heavily anytime between November through May, and the neighborhood roads may not be fully plowed in a timely manner. Low-clearance vehicles are not recommended but may be able to make the drive depending on the weather. Also, please be cautious of snow and ice on the front porch after storms. We will leave snow removal equipment for you and will try to get up to clear snow after particularly big storms. We have a 50 gallon water heater but ask guests to please be conservative with water usage. Mountain water is a precious commodity. You will have access to the entire cabin. If there is anything you need, please just shoot us a message or give us a call. We will be at the bottom of the canyon and at your beck and call. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed in the canyon. It is a watershed canyon that provides drinking water to Salt Lake County. There is a substantial fine if the sheriff or neighbors see you with a dog in the canyon. We will be right at the bottom of the canyon and can be contacted via text or phone at any time. We are on the "quiet side" of the Silverfork neighborhood in Brighton, Utah. It is common to go on a long walk and not see another soul, outside of the occasional Moose or any number of other animals. The river is only about one minute away. A great place to take a chair and sit for the afternoon. Enjoy! From November through May you will need a 4x4 or AWD to access the cabin. The roads are packed snow and are plowed regularly, but if we get a real doozy of a storm, it can sometimes take a bit longer for the plows to get to all of the streets. Moose Meadow Manor has two dedicated parking spots. Skiing, biking, hiking, fishing, snowshoeing, and rock climbing are all accessible right out the front door at Moose Meadow Manor! We will leave you directions to some of our favorite local hikes as well as a few sets of snowshoes and some snow fort-making molds to enjoy the snow even when you aren't making turns at the resorts. In the warmer months, drive over beautiful Guardsman's Pass to visit Park City in a short 30 minutes!
