Islandtime Eurong

Islandtime is a 5 bedroom 2 story house with a 2-sided deck to catch the sea breeze while relaxing on our peaceful veranda in a fully fenced area. We are located at 11 Anderson Street Eurong Second Valley K’gari (Fraser Island). We are about 200 meters walking distance to the beach, resort, shop and bakery. We have a fully self-contained kitchen with gas stove, BBQ, 2 fridges and a (freezer downstairs for bait). We have a smart TV with local free to air channels via vast satellite. The space Islandtime is situated in Eurong Second Valley and is protected by a Dingo safe fence. You have about a 200 meter walk to the beach, Eurong’s - restaurant, resort bar, bakery and shop. We are in a great location for your day out visiting Lake McKenzie, Lake Wabby, Lake Birrabeen and many more. Check out the SS Maheno shipwreck and enjoy the beautiful clear water at Eli creek with all the family enjoying a refreshing swim. Only Telstra mobile service on the Island. This space 5 bedroom 2 bathroom is a self-contained house. Main living area with 3 bedrooms and bathroom separate toilet upstairs and 2 bedrooms and shower/toilet and laundry downstairs. There are no internal stairs. We can sleep up to 12 people. Upstairs Bedroom 1 – Queen bed Bedroom 2 – Queen bed Bedroom 3 – Double bed Downstairs Bedroom 4 – Queen bed Bedroom 5 – 2 sets King single bunk beds (4 beds) The Kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove and gas oven and a BBQ out on the veranda. The lounge/dining area is a large area with a bar and beer fridge in the corner. We have a Smart TV (free to air) We have ceiling fans in the 3 bedrooms upstairs and the lounge, downstairs rooms have wall fans. Please don’t run the fans on high speed as this will draw on the power .Turn off when not in the house. Our house runs on gas for Kitchen and hot water this can run out unexpectedly if so please notify me and I will get the gas bottle changed as soon as possible. The BBQ on the veranda has a gas bottle on it, if it runs out please notify me so I can get it changed as soon as possible. We also have a can in as an oil catcher please keeps an eye on it so it doesn’t overflow and dispose of it in your rubbish at vacate. (Extra cans supplied) Please DO NOT through any food or oil over the veranda and please make sure it’s clean at vacate. Kitchen is fully equipped with the basics to cater for up to 12 people, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, chopsticks, wine glasses etc.( Please don’t take any items to other house if you visiting friends). Cans are supplied to put oils/dripping in and dispose with your rubbish. Please don’t tip down the sink. Please do not remove any items from the house. Please do not take any chairs downstairs or shift any furniture from room to room. Please report any broken items as we would like to replace them before next tenants (accidents happen) We have and outdoor shower near the main stairs please rinse sand off before going into the house. Please be mindful of your water use as we are on tank water and it’s a small tank if you run out please notify me so I can get water pumped as soon as possible. Please no washing of cars, there is a car wash behind the resort. There is a small washing machine downstairs only use on cold wash and only use when the sun is out shake sand from clothes before washing, we have a clothes line inside and outside and please leave washing basket and pegs inside. There is a Laundromat at the resort on the corner near the public toilets that you can use, coin operated. What to bring NO LINEN IS SUPPLIED – (Linen can be hired locally if requested) You will need to bring • Bottom and top sheet • Pillow case • Towels • Personal items • Toilet paper • Garbage bags • Food • Cooking oil • Drinks (water out of taps is drinkable but not filtered) • Tea towels • Dishwashing Liquid • Insect repellent • Torch Supplied in the house • Pillows • Doonas • Bath mat in each bathroom • Chux and scourer • Garbage bag in bins to start with • Toilet roll in each toilet Power This house runs solely on Solar Power with a backup generator, if you run out of power there may be a callout free to start the generator. Please notify us if you have no power. Please don’t plug in your car fridges, hairdryers/straigtheners, rice cookers, coffee machine, deep fryers, or any other electrical appliances only use what is supplied or you will loose power. Please be aware on cloudy days of the power and please turn off lights, fans, phone chargers etc to save power. Please let us know if you need to use a CPAP machine. Please be aware On the Island we have ants, spiders, mosquitoes, march flies, moths, gecko, snakes, birds, goannas, Dingos and other critters. Please don’t feed or interact with any animals and keep doors closed to keep them out. No swags, tents or fires on the property. No smoking in the house, there is an ashtray provided under the BBQ for outside smoking only. To the booking Guest please invite all adult guests to the conversation so all guests are informed.
