The engineered steps have you to the water in minutes to fish, swim, or hop on your tube. The location of the cabin is a kayakers dream! The cabin sits in perfect proximity between two Department of Conservation Access points with parking and boat ramps. Upstream is Smack-Out Access which is off of Highway 60 East of Granby and gives you a leisurely day float to the cabin. You can also start at the cabin and float to Cherry Corners Public Access which is located north of Granby off of Highway 59. If you want a short float (less than 2 hours) you can put in upstream at the Ritchey bridge. The cabin has several areas where you can sit and enjoy nature and enjoy watching the water go by. There is a deck with patio furniture and gas grill so; you can visit with friends and family while grilling. The outdoor fire pit gives you a view of the creek while you snuggle up to the fire to roast your marshmallows. There is also a picnic table nearby for outdoor dining. The glassed in porch places you in the trees for morning bird watching on the feeders while you enjoy your morning coffee! The porch gives you a great view of the water and has a futon for reading a good book or for a relaxing nap! The cabin has 5 bedrooms and 1 ½ baths. There is a one bedroom located on the main level and the large bathroom. The bathroom has a jetted tub, separate shower, and washer and dryer. The other 4 bedrooms are located upstairs with the ½ bath located among them. There are only 2 steps to get into the cabin and the first floor of the cabin is all on one level. (Do not recommend cabin for toddlers) The cabin feels like you are away from it all being on a dead end road but are less than 4 miles from a Dollar General, small town grocery store, or takeout pizza.
