This is the reservation page for Koukasha single rooms. Koukasha is a small inn located in the foothills of Yamaguchi City, where you can enjoy the four seasons of Satoyama. It opened in 1974 as a Yamaguchi Youth Hostel. In 2023, we redesigned it as a place where not only travelers but also locals can enjoy, with a wood-fired sauna, shop, and cafe. Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and too much information, and quietly face your body and mind, We want to offer you a simple, slightly special time. About ■ your stay The hotel is not a private accommodation. There are 6 single rooms on the 1st floor with compact yet privacy, and a family room for 2-4 people on the 2nd floor for families and groups. This is the reservation request page for a single room. It is a private room on the 1st floor. It is a minimalist simple room with only a comfortable single bed and a small desk and chair. You can enjoy some alone time, reading or getting enough sleep, in a quiet space where you can feel the seasons through the sunlight coming in through the small windows, the babbling of the stream, and the sound of insects. Breakfast: Adults 1,200 yen/person, elementary school students and younger: 800 yen/person Guest sauna: 2,000 yen (15:30 ~ 17:30, 18:00 ~ 20:00, 21:00 ~ 23:00) Breakfast and sauna fees are not included in the accommodation fee. About ■meals There is no authentic dinner, but it is available from the cafe menu. Breakfast is available as an option.We provide a rustic and tasty breakfast using local ingredients such as handmade bread and seasonal soup. You can enjoy the cafe menu, such as homemade dumplings and hot dogs, for breakfast, and it is also ideal for takeout on your way home. Feel free to bring your own bento boxes, etc.Feel free to use the dishes, kettle, oven toaster, microwave, and ice maker ice. We do not have a refrigerator for you, but you can keep it at the front desk, so please let the staff know. Other restaurants are introduced at the front desk, so please ask the staff. About the■ sauna An authentic sauna using a wood stove for a heat source and a groundwater bath in the outdoor air bath along the clear flow.It is a quiet, rustic, and small sauna with no flashy performances. There is no TV or music in the sauna.Listen to the sound of firewood blasting while watching the flames shake, and watch the stars at night while listening to the sound of the river.If you think this is enough for you. Please use the swimsuit and other clothes.It is a separate sauna area for men and women. About the■ Cafe Snacks such as handmade dumplings, homemade bread hot dogs, soup with plenty of local ingredients, and chicken curry at a traveling cafe.We also provide homemade snacks such as tiramisu, muffins, cookies, and amber sandwiches.There is also good coffee and homemade drinks and liquor.Craft beer for the sauna.Enjoy conversations with the staff at the counter at the front desk, and relax and read a book in the day room with a large window overlooking the view of Mt. Kido, and spend your time wherever you like. About the■ shops At the Kohana Sha store, we mainly select handmade daily necessities that will color your life. Each region of production has a variety of uses.But what we can say in common are comfortable products that are familiar with life.
