Castle in the Loire Valley

The 19th century castle is located in a preserved site in the middle of nature facing a watercourse: the Cisse. The region is famous for its many other castles accessible within a radius of 40 km (Blois, Chambord, Chaumont, Cheverny...) and it is full of activities to do in the vicinity (Beauval Zoo, hot air balloon, cycling...). Many renowned vineyards and restaurants are also accessible. A concierge system is in place for additional services. The space You will enjoy the most prestigious part of the castle with an area of 400 m2 composed as follows: • Ground floor: a large living room, a small living room, a dining room, a kitchen and toilets, • 1st floor: 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, 2 toilets and 1 dedicated workspace, • Wi-Fi available everywhere / TV, • Large family pool (16 meters) shared with the owners (available depending on the season) / Tennis / Barbecue, • Large gardens with a dining area, • Linens & towels provided. This part of the castle is completely independent of the rest, with two accesses. •. Parking spaces very close to the entrances Guest access We suggest that you rent part of the castle in which you will be completely self-contained. You will have access to the majority of the park surrounding the castle as well as a tennis court (concrete surface). The pool is shared with the owners. Finally, you can enjoy the forest surrounding the castle and the paths through it. Other things to note The castle has belonged to the same family since 1860 and has been the happiness of its occupants ever since! It is carefully decorated with its period furniture. It is intended for travelers seeking calm and proximity to nature (pond, stream, forest, gardens, noise of animals and flowing water) without compromising on comfort (new bedding and overall refreshment in 2023). A caretaker is present on site year-round. He takes care of the garden maintenance. During your stay, he may have to come and mow the hedge or lawn for a few hours. The pool and tennis court date back to the 1970s: they are well maintained but show signs of wear (coating/paint). The owners and/or a pool specialist will take care of the pool maintenance.
