This is a guest unit in Sellwood, a quiet and walkable neighborhood in Southeast Portland, Oregon. Located in a residential area only blocks away from grocery stores, bakeries, public library, coffee shops, and local parks, it's the perfect place for a visit! Downtown Portland is only a short drive or light rail ride away. The space This is a modern, fully furnished and well-appropriated Accessory Dwelling Unit with a private entrance, separated from the main house by a locked door. There is a open living/dining/kitchen space, a full bathroom, bedroom with a walk-in closet, and patio. Guest access There is a private, locked entrance on the side of the house at the back of the driveway. For guests with mobility issues, please note that there are 2 steps up to enter the unit, and 2 steps down to go from the kitchen area to the bedroom. Guests can use the back patio off the bedroom which is furnished with chairs and a small table. Other things to note The unit is separated from the main house by a locked, soundproofed door. Because of the shared walls, there is some carryover of the noises from day-to-day living from our family's living room and kitchen. We have a lovable, friendly dog named Toby. He will sometimes bark at noises in the guest unit our from outside the house, so guests who are very sensitive to an occasionally barking dog should be aware.
