Brava House in the heart of the Historic Neighborhood of Clarksville, Austin's only downtown B&B. THE APARTMENT: Located on the second floor of Brava House, this full-sized apartment is perfect for families, groups or extended stays. THE HOUSE: Brava House is one of the original Victorian homes in Austin, built in 1889 by Minus Culver in historic Old West Austin near Clarksville, a central neighborhood with a unique character that is also on the National Register Historic District. The space Located on the second floor of the Brava House, this full-sized apartment is perfect for families, groups or extended stays. The suite includes a bedroom with a queen size bed, kitchen, dining area and queen size tempurpedic sleeper sofa in the living room. Sleeps up to 4. The Living Room As you walk into the Monroe living room, you see a charming fireplace with window seats on either side. There is a separate dining area, tempurpedic sleeper-sofa, TV with cable. The Kitchen The charming, retro 50’s style kitchen features all white cabinets. Complete with a full sized refrigerator, gas stove and oven, built-in microwave, sink and dishwasher, you will be right at home and ready to cook a meal if you desire. 4 place settings, pots & pans, mixing bowls and utensils are available; as well as a toaster and coffee maker. The Bedroom The Monroe bedroom is very large, with a queen size tempurpedic bed featuring a beautiful carved wrought iron headboard. The room features beautiful windows and is light-filled and spacious. Complete with cable TV, alarm clock, and plenty of closet space. The Bathroom The white and black tiled bathroom has a tub with shower, skylight and pedestal sink and includes all the amenities needed in a modern bathroom, including a hairdryer. Brava House is a non-smoking facility; smoking is permitted outside only. Check-in time is 4 pm, and check-out time is 11am. Early check in or late check out is available for additional $50 per room. A continental-plus breakfast is served weekdays from 8-9, and a full breakfast on the weekends from 9-10. All breakfasts are served in the back house. There is plenty of free off-street parking in our private parking lot behind Brava House. Brava House B&B welcomes families with children of all ages. We ask that parties with children under age 10 stay in one of the suites, where there are no downstairs neighbors. Please let us know at the time of reservation if you will have children with you, and the age(s). We also accept pets in some of our rooms. If you will have pets in your party, please advise us ahead of time. You must get prior approval for your pet, and we reserve the right to limit the type or breed of pets accepted. There is a $50 per night per pet charge. All room rates are based on single or double occupancy. All of our suites offer a queen size sleeper-sofa which will allow up to 4 guests in the room. We also have a rollaway bed available for a 3rd guest in other rooms. There will be an additional $50 per person charge per room per night over 2 guests. If sleeper sofa is used with 2 guests there is a one time $25 charge.
