Welcome to Hotel Momotus. Our hotel is located in one of the most beautiful locations in Colombia - El Valle de Cocora in Salento. The property is located on a nature reserve that has two pristine flowing rivers parallel to the property that descend from high in the valley and are a few steps from your room. Enjoy our restaurant and bar, and try traditional Colombian dishes or a hot chocolate in the evenings. We invite you to experience the lush nature, zen and relaxation at Hotel Momotus. The space During your stay you will experience a relaxing and peaceful stay. We take pride in our cleanliness, attention to detail and dedication to guest experience. As for the property as a whole, we invite you to wander throughout the property and take in the sounds and fresh air that make our hotel one of a kind in the region. We have planted local fauna that's unique to region and will soon be able to provide fresh fruits and vegetables right from our garden to our guests. Our King rooms have their own exterior patio with a view of the mountains. Upgrades to larger rooms are available upon request. If we cannot provide an upgrade, please request additional options we can try to accommodate all of your guests. Guest access As our guest you will be able to enjoy access to the entire property. We invite you to explore around during your stay. Please approach a staff member if you have any questions or would like guidance on where to go. We would recommend walking over to the nearby river. Other things to note ABOUT THIS SPACE: Our king rooms can comfortably accommodate two people, but for those guests who wish to bring an additional guest to our king room, upgrades to larger rooms are available upon request. If we cannot provide an upgrade, please request additional options we can try to accommodate all of your guests. ADDITIONAL SERVICES: We are always delighted to provide additional services for our guests who may need transportation, guided tours, food recommendations and special requests. We have experience in preparing weddings, corporate events and large birthday parties, so please write to us if you are interested in booking the property exclusively for your event. RULES AND REGULATIONS: As per resolution 1238 of the Colombian Government, we are obligated to register each and every guests that comes into our property. We must register all foreign guests visiting this property into the SIRE database (Sistema de Informacion de Registro de Extranjeros). Registering your information is a legal obligation we are expected to uphold with the government in order to operate the property. Therefore we must ask for your passport at the time of arrival and for every guest in your reservation.
