Urban Fern Bungalow - steps to Food/Shops/Max
Description

Walk/bike/train to everything you need! Easy to get around w/out a car but also plenty of free street parking & off street parking in the driveway. The space *PLEASE read all my house rules and details below to make sure you have a successful stay ;-) This is an entire house, it has a duplex set up - each level has one bedroom with queen bed, one full bathroom, kitchen, living room with sofa bed and private entrance. The two levels are connected by a door (can be locked or left open) off main level kitchen that leads to laundry room and down basement stairs. Both units are also available to rent separately. View my separate listings to see many reviews :-) Together this home is fantastic for couples traveling together or family/friends that prefer more separate spaces or extra privacy. The main level has a private and peaceful back deck to enjoy morning coffee or a drink in the evening. There is an arm chair, loveseat rocker, umbrella and small table with chairs. LAUNDRY Laundry room has a stacked washer/dryer with laundry soap provided. PARKING Plenty of free street parking out front, also you are welcome to use the driveway for off street parking. PETS We love traveling with our sweet pug Meatball so want to extend the same courtesy! 🐶 One well-behaved, fully potty trained & under 50 pounds dog allowed, will consider two small dogs. Strictly no cats or any other animals. $50 fee per stay. *Be sure to include your pet on your reservation. Doggie care package provided with bowls, blanket, towel & poo bags. Pick up after your pup, wipe dirty paws and keep on a leash when outside. Do not leave alone uncrated or for an extended time. Keep off furniture & bed, if yours insists cover with dog blanket for them to lay on. You are responsible for any excessive cleaning needed or damage caused by your pet. EXTRA AMENITIES After booking I will send you a link to my amenities shop which includes early check-in, late check-out, stocked pantry, fresh flowers & more. Guest access Entire house with two entrances, front garden and back deck. Other things to note Kids Not a good fit for young kids as there is no child proofing or kid gear/supplies and steps down to basement are concrete and steep. Church Next Door Having the old church next door is lovely. Most people enjoy hearing the soft music from the church if on the back deck Sunday morning. Sometimes the beautiful stained glass windows light up in the evening! Bathtub The bathroom on main floor has a claw foot tub/shower combination. Many guests love this old home feature but some may find it difficult to climb in/out of the tub to shower. Basement Studio Home has been remodeled but is old so although the layout is very functional & open please note that the queen bed is in a tight spot. It is possible to squeeze by bed to access closet but it is tight. Access to basement apartment is down steep concrete stairs, there is a good handrail and anti-slip flooring but please don’t book if uncomfortable with steeper than normal stairs. I sound-proofed the ceiling as much as possible but you still may hear some footsteps from main level. There is a Tosot de-humidifier by the door that keeps the air fresh, it turns on automatically and has an automatic pump. It is quiet (peak sound level 52 decibels) but if too noisy you can turn off, I also have one near basement stairs. Also if you are tall you may feel that the ceiling height is low (but is typical for basement height) Registration Details 19-110162-000-00-HO
