Cabin on Big Powderhorn Mtn

Bring the whole family to this great cabin nestled in the woods on the side of Big Powderhorn Mtn. Bear Summit is a 5 bedroom 3 bathroom cabin that sleeps 13 people. (The 6th bedroom is an open loft area). Featuring a wood burning fireplace, board games, and plenty of space. You can stream your favorite shows on 2 smart TVs. Up to 3 dogs are welcome, there is a $50 pet fee per stay. While we are on the mountain, we are not a ski-in ski-out cabin. It is just a short few minutes drive to the base. The space Internet is available throughout the house. There are 5 bedrooms and a loft area. 3 bedrooms and the loft are on the top floor. 1 bedroom is on the main floor and 1 bedroom is in the lower level. 4 of the bedrooms have queen beds. 1 bedroom has a guest and a twin. The loft area has a twin bunk bed as well as a TV ready for streaming your favorite services. (Using your login credentials). There is a bathroom on each of the 3 levels. The kitchen, main dining area, wood burning stove, and family room are on the main/middle floor. This TV is also ready to stream your favorite service. On the lower level there is a secondary eating area/board game room including an air hockey table. There is also a partial secondary kitchen with an extra refrigerator and sink. The lower level can be chilly compared to the upper levels but there is an extra electric heater that can be used. New this year is a ski rack near the main entrance. Guest access Full house is available except for the owner closets in the lower level. (They are marked and locked) Other things to note As for anywhere within the Big Powderhorn Area, it is recommended to have an AWD or 4WD vehicle if arriving just after or during a snowstorm. There are security cameras on the exterior of the property. If you are bringing a dog (up to 2) be sure to include that in your search criteria in the # of guests section. Amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dishwasher pods, and garbage bags are provided on a limited basis but should last 2-3 days with normal usage. New in 2025 - Generac Generator that will automatically turn on within 20 seconds of a power outage. It will power the whole house including furnace and well pump. While the cabin is located on Big Powderhorn, it is also very close to Snowriver and Mount Zion Ski Resorts.
