Welcome to 138 Mohonk! Our Hudson Valley home is ideal for friends or families looking for a getaway. We're centrally located between Woodstock, Kingston & New Paltz, with easy access to the Gunks, Mohonk Preserve, Minnewaska State Park, and tons of antique stores and tiny towns. Our house includes 5 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a jacuzzi bathtub, a deck with a grill and picnic table, a fire pit, and a stone fire place. We endeavor to make our home feel like yours! All backgrounds are welcome! Our entire home is available for use. Here are some useful details: Kitchen - Fully outfitted, country kitchen. Your hosts love to cook, which means that the setup is pretty sweet. Living Room - Our living room comes complete with a smart TV (with HBO, Amazon Prime & Netflix) and XBox 360. We also have a DVD player and tons of movies for your enjoyment. Dining Area - Our handmade wooden dining table comfortably seats 10, but we've fit up to 14 without a problem. We have extra tables available for extra large gatherings. Fireplace / Fire Pit - we provide the place and the pit, you provide the wood. There are plenty of places to cuddle up by a fire. Air Mattresses - Feel free to bring your own. We do have 2 onsite for use. Information Center - We have a fully outfitted information center on to-dos in the Hudson Valley including hiking, skiing, the Mohonk Preserve and Gunks, tubing on the Esopus, antiques, restaurants, swimming holes, apple picking... we've got all the info at your fingertips! You'll have access to our whole home, including a spacious front and back yard. I'm fully available via text or call for the duration of your stay, but I won't be hanging around in person. We do have a contact available nearby in case of emergency. We recommend taking a car up to the house, but public transportation is available via the Adirondak bus system to nearby Rosendale. We do have Uber if you need to to get around and don't feel like driving. One thing to note - this is a country house. We occasionally get little grey field mice, ants, and other little bugs who try to stay in our house. We do our best to keep them away, but they may come to visit despite our best efforts.
