Everyone gets their morning buzz—two kitchens, two coffee makers! Sweetgrass & Honey House combines two private suites—connected internally—to form one full-home rental. Each level has its own kitchen, bathroom, living space, and bedrooms. A staircase between the units is unlocked for group bookings to allow easy access. Our home honors the land and the light—with inspiration from both local Indigenous roots and nature’s joyful bees. Whether you're gathering with friends, reuniting with family, or adventuring through Algoma, this home is your hive of comfort. This home is centrally located, making it easy to explore the city’s attractions and events. You'll be a short walk from restaurants, cafes, and the waterfront boardwalk. Easy access to Lake Superior beaches, Searchmont Ski Resort, Agawa Train, golfing, and seasonal events. Local favorites include; The Breakfast Pig, Outspoken Brewery, and The Mill Market. As with many downtown cores, the area is lively and urban, and you may encounter a mix of people and activity. For your comfort, the property is equipped with security cameras, and past guests have enjoyed their stays without any safety concerns. However, we do recommend keeping doors locked. Guest access Guests will have private access to the whole house. Other things to note The house is nearly a century and still boasts the original trim and refinished hardwood floors which we think are beautiful but you can expect to hear a few squeaky boards! Please take this into consideration if you are sensitive to this kind of noise. Please note that this home includes one flight of stairs between floors. The main floor suite (2BR) is accessible via 2 steps at the back entrance, while the upper suite (1BR) is accessed internally during group bookings. While we generally have a no-pet policy, we’re happy to consider small, well-behaved dogs (under 10 lbs). Please message us with details before booking. Non-shedding and/or crated pets are preferred. A $25 cleaning fee applies. As a small business we must adhere to our cancellation policy. Please consider purchasing travel insurance to avoid unexpected losses should your travel plans change due to illness, accidents, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. The city of Sault Ste.
