Ings Kippers guest suite

Conveniently located at Ings near Windermere in the beautiful Lake District National Park, a World Heritage Site, this spacious super-king guest suite is perfect for couples or singles who wish to explore the area and experience the many activities it has to offer. Within a few minutes walk is the highly regarded Watermill Inn and brewery and a Pret a Manger cafe. Only 1.5 miles from Staveley and 2 miles to Windermere village, we are on a bus route offering easy travel throughout the Park. The space The suite comprises a spacious sleeping area with super-king bed, a modern en-suite with shower and a sitting area with sofa, fridge-freezer and TV. A kettle is provided together with some hot drink options and biscuits as a welcome. The bedroom also has a TV and a long worktop unit with drawers, a make-up mirror and stool. Ceiling lights are dimmable. The bed can be converted into twin beds on request. The private patio area offers seating and views towards The Old Man of Coniston and surrounding hills. Guest access Integral to Hill Top, our house, the guest suite has a private door to our car park and it has it's own porch. From May to September we run a campsite on the property so there may be campers sharing the car park. We live in the remainder of the house. The suite is on the ground floor with a connecting door to our hallway, which we keep locked when guests are present. Guests will also be able to access facilities provided for our campers such as recycling bins and an outdoor shower. During your stay We live at the house of which the guest suite is part, so we will be on hand for any questions, issues or to provide advice on places to go, transport options etc. Malcolm is a mountain leader and can provide advice on walking routes, gear etc. Other things to note We are conveniently situated near to a main road so guests may experience background road noise at times. There are no cooking facilities provided beyond the ability to make hot drinks and store cold refreshments but there are many options for eating out locally or in Windermere and Staveley.
