The space The Annex is a fresh, contemporary two storey, one bedroom property sleeping 2-3. Luxury kingsize or single bed make up available. And a chair bed that unfolds to a large single, luxury mattress topper provided. All on one floor. I can provide a travel cot and high chair if needed. Located in the owner’s garden with a separate, outdoor space specific to the annex. Equipped for all your needs for a wonderful time in Cambridge. The Annex has been thoughtfully styled with the aim of creating a home from home yet vacation mode environment – with an eclectic mix of old (artwork) and new (luxury beds & mattresses). The kitchenette facilitates refrigeration and freezer (always stocked with ice), a combi oven/grill/microwave, portable 2 ring hob, kettle (of course!) and a Nespresso coffee machine. I provide tea, milk (will seek milk type preference in advance), instant coffee and Nespresso coffee pods. The basics salt, pepper, vinegar there too. The rainhead shower is strong and spacious, soap and all-in-one bodywash and shampoo provided too (please bring your favourite hair and body products if required). Just in case you forget your charger (Apple), tooth paste, tooth brush, there are spares. There is a designated workspace and seating area in the large upstairs bedroom, strong wifi throughout and downstairs 2 comfy sofas for watching tv, lounging and a dining table. Guest access Access is through a garden pathway connected to the main house though separate and self check in. The entire annex is yours for your stay. There’s ample, free parking. Other things to note The Annex is a 5 minute walk to Hauxton village rec with weekend coffee spot, and a 25 minute walk or 5 min drive to the village of Great Shelford offering ample amenities. 1.3 miles to Trumpington Park and Ride providing quickest service (apprx 10 mins) to city centre. Bus stop to Park and Ride right outside annex location. 1.5 miles to Shelford train station (1 train stop to Cambridge city centre and direct trains to London, Stansted airport) 2.2 miles to Addenbrookes Hospital 1 mile to M11
