Bodos Hut sits in the heart of our woodland offering immersive sounds of wildlife, privacy & a relaxing experience. From the luxury of the cosy cabin, you can enjoy a dining experience inside the Hut or step outside and dine amongst the nature of the woodland. Enjoy a private hot hut or outdoor bath in the summer air or take comfort in the Sauna during colder months. Complimentary bath salts, robes & towels provided. Up to 2 dogs welcome at £20 per stay 🐶 Insta 📷 @ southfieldescapes The space Bodos Hut features a cosy pull down double bed, with quality hotel mattress, & flat screen smart TV. A modern fully fitted kitchen & bathroom. The bathroom has a toilet, shower, fresh towels & bath robes. The kitchen features a gas hob, small fridge, seating area with a pull down dining table, an electric fire, combi-microwave, kettle & toaster. In the private garden area, there is a hot tub with a cover over as well as a private outdoor bath with hot & cold running water. The bath fits up to 2 adults. Enjoy the relaxation of the woods while you bath outside with bath salts provided; or take a cold plunge after your wood burning sauna experience. WOODBURNING SAUNA: The sauna basket will be filled with complimentary logs, sticks and kindling. Matches provided. Anything extra can be purchased from our property. Please note that the Sauna takes up to 1 hour to heat to full temperature. This is an exciting experience for you to prepare the Sauna for your own use! The sauna is shared between Charlie & Bodos Hut & is directly in the middle of both huts. It is easy access & there is plenty of time for the two huts to have private use of the sauna. We ask guests to be respectful & allow the guest who lit the sauna to have first use, following on from this, guests can go in & out as they please. We have a door sign for “free” & “busy” outside the Sauna which you can hang on the door so others know when it’s available. A tip to get the Sauna up to 70 degrees is to use the bucket and spoon and add water to the hot stones, which provides a hot steam experience. Guest access Outside of the Hut, you can enjoy a private seating area with a picnic bench, a BBQ where we provide half a bag of logs, set up on the fire-pit for you, & you bring your own fire lighters / charcoal. You can purchase extra logs from us if you let us know before 5pm on the same day or purchase in advance of your stay. Other things to note We provide free parking for up to 2 cars or 1 van during your stay. We have a number of local restaurants we would recommend which include:- - Brizzolari’s Italians Rowlands Gill (3.5 miles) - The Pavilion, Cantonese (4.9 miles) - Woodmans Arms, Whickham (5.5 miles) - Wheelbirks ice cream Parlour (8 miles) - Bayberry Hollow (5 miles) - a lovely cafe for breakfast or lunch.
