Enjoy your whole family at this nice cottage. Playground and football field not far away, lots of nice hiking opportunities, or just enjoy the view The space We rent out our cozy and charming cabin. We use this often and want it to be taken into account when using it. It is a brand new cabin, so if there is anything special that is missing, we are happy to take feedback on this. There are many great hiking opportunities in the area. Otherwise, it is 25 minutes by car to the 18-hole golf course, Meland Golf, 20 minutes by car to Knarvik city center or the nearest grocery store, 40 minutes by car to Bergen city center. There's also a bus to the area. The cabin is in a quiet cabin area with little noise and little car traffic. There is only a short distance to the nearest playground and football field. The space The cabin is fully built in 2023. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room and kitchen, as well as a storage room that is reserved privately. There are heating cables in all floors, as well as a light-fired fireplace. Remember to buy with firewood! A little more detailed about the cabin: Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a 160 double bed. There is space to put bags/bags on the floor. Bedroom 1 has 2 x 200 cm duvets. Regular cotton linens. Currently no clothes storage in rooms. Bedroom 2 has a 120 cm bed with 2 regular duvets (200cm) and regular cotton bed linen. Currently no clothes storage in rooms. Bedroom 3 has a 120 cm bed with 2 regular duvets (200cm) and regular cotton bed linen. Currently no clothes storage in rooms. The living room The dining table has extra insert plates that can make the table bigger. As the table stands now, there is room for 4 guests. When the insert plate is in, there is room for a minimum of 6 guests. Sofa, armchair and table. Kitchen The kitchen is spacious and practical and has most of the equipment. New oven. Always use baking paper under what you fry. (Induction hob as a hot plate, with extra space for the pots. If you are not used to using the induction hob, be aware that it will be very quickly hot. If you don't fit, it's easy to sting the food. Integrated dishwasher and refrigerator with freezer. Something private will be in the fridge, but there should be plenty of space for you. The top drawer in the freezer is for guests. There is often some ice here. All cutlery, glasses, plates and the like, should be washed in the dishwasher. Only thing to be washed by hand is the wooden cutting boards. No microwave. Bathrooms: In the bathroom there is a shower, toilet and a sink. In the bathroom there is also washing equipment if guests want to wash during their stay. (Cleaning of course I take, but from experience I think it's good to be able to wash if I'm in a place over several days). There is a water heater and good opportunity to shower, but there is a small cabin and the water heater is the same size. Washing machine and dryer in a machine: available in bathroom. Can be used for additional fee NOK 50 per use. Don't wear it at night. Outdoor area: There is a terrace that guests have at their disposal, in addition, the back is fabulous for morning sun and a little warmer in the wind. There we do not have a deck or furniture today, but the furniture is easy to move around. On the terrace there is a comfortable sofa group with an elevated table. This is what we also use as an outside dining area. Here the sun shines from about 9-10 until 10.30 pm (depending on the season). Here also a Weber ball grill that can be used if the weather permits! Remember to buy with charcoal! The backyard: we are working on developing the place and more will come eventually. In the forest behind the cabin there is a small wooden hut under construction, this can be used at your own risk (for children). Parking: There are 2 parking spaces. There is also an electric car charger here. If you need the electric car charger, let me know in advance and I can unlock it for use. The electricity is expensive in Norway, so price is NOK 50 per charge. Guest access entire cabin except for a stall Other things to note House rules: - Take off your shoes inside. - No smoking inside. Also not outside by doors, windows and vents. Stand a bit away from the cabin if you have to smoke and do not throw the cigarette butt on the ground. - Parties and events are not allowed. (If you want to invite a couple of people for dinner/coffee, of course, that's fine!) - Do not charge mobile phones or other equipment at night, due to fire safety. - If more than the number of guests booked are to stay, this must be clarified with me in advance. The sofa is not a sofa bed. - Pets are not allowed - Have fun, relax and enjoy your stay :) Before you leave: - Remember the garbage! The garbage must be taken with you when you leave. Garbage container for the cabin can be found at the first bus stop you arrive at when you leave the cabin. - Deposit bottles must be taken for recycling. Return them to the grocery store and you will get your money back! - All dishes must be washed. If the dishwasher is on at the time of departure, that is fine. Wipe down surfaces in the kitchen. - Make sure the terrace door is properly closed and locked. - Tidy up other things as they were upon arrival. - All used towels can be placed in a pile in front of the shower.
