Woodland Cottage is perfect for group trips, set in the peaceful community of Cascade Shores just 3/4 mi from Scotts Flat Lake, less than 15 minutes to quintessential downtown Nevada City, and a short drive to the Yuba river. Beautiful Scotts Flat Lake is accessible via a 15 minute walk or 3 minute car ride - amenities include boat launch ramps, marina, picnic areas, sandy beaches, a general store and multiple hiking trails. The space Set on a half acre, Woodland Cottage is surrounded by pine trees. Enjoy hanging out on the spacious deck which includes a dining space, sitting area with fire table and a gas bbq. The interior includes a newly remodeled kitchen with top of the line appliances, dining area, wet bar, and large living room with a 75" tv and high speed internet. There are four beautifully appointed bedrooms all with walk in closets. Two bedrooms have king beds and two have queens, and an open upstairs loft features two additional queen beds. A downstairs game room includes a pool table and lounging area for additional fun. Guest access Please access the home by driving all the way to the top of the driveway, and entering through the door on the deck. Please do not try to enter through the garage door! Other things to note PLEASE READ: * In the winter, the Tahoe region sees snowstorms that may impact your travels. In the summer and fall, there may be wildfires or wildfire smoke. These known seasonal events are not covered under Extenuating Circumstances and there are NO refunds for these natural weather conditions. A reschedule or date transfer may be allowed on a case by case basis. Trip insurance is advised and may be purchased through Airbnb as part of the booking process. This home is higher in elevation than downtown Nevada City, and can get large amounts of snow. * Please note, there is limited cell phone service, but Wifi is very strong and allows for all texting, calling, and/or zoom calls/streaming necessary!
