Fairway Suite is close to the city center, parks, and art and culture. It is a place that is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The neighborhood is built around The Columbia Country Club, Columbia's "original club", and boasts at least one historic home. With Stephens Lake Park and Stephens College Stables in close proximity, not to mention downtown Columbia, there is great convenience to many options for leisure and relaxation, shopping, or medical community. Fairway Suite is a large semi-apartment space with a small galley kitchen (Subzero refrigerator, Microwave, cabinet, trash receptacle, bar sink, light with dimmer switch, and drawers for storage). The ceiling is vaulted with ample lighting, and a quiet Minka ceiling fan. The Suite's bathroom is ample in size with one sink, and a separate dressing counter with drawers. A large walk-in shower accompanies this room with an air-jetted soaking tub. Large double doors open onto a very private patio space, with exquisitely landscaped garden spaces, and meditation garden. Guests may have access to a spacious laundry room, washer, dryer, deep sink, ironing board and iron. The laundry room also has a full-sized refrigerator and separate full-sized freezer that would be available and shared with Hosts. A bathroom is available with toilet and sink adjacent to the laundry room area. The Hosts (Gary and Randall) are available to advise on places to dine, things to do and see in the area. With over 40 years in the Columbia community, and as previous owner/operators of a Bed and Breakfast in the Rocheport community west of Columbia along the Missouri River, the Hosts are well equipped to interact with Guests as much or as little they desire. If complete privacy is needed with no interaction whatsoever, the space is conducive for quiet, restful sleep, and meditation. Privacy and genuine hospitality are the key elements for a stay in Fairway Suite. The neighborhood is a mix of retired professional persons, active young professionals, older estate sized homes overlooking the 18-hole golf course at Columbia Country Club. Part of the Country Club Estates Neighborhood Association, the neighborhood is a treasure near the heart of the City Centre, and recognized by the City with at least one historic home of notable reputation. There are many fine restaurants in Columbia, along with nearby vineyards and wineries. At least two local restaurant micro-breweries are popular spots in Columbia and easy access from Fairway Suite. Quick and efficient access to a multitude of stores from "big-box" to small independent business are nearby and easy to reach. Neighbors in this classic old neighborhood enjoy quiet walks in the morning, stopping into each other's yards, and paying quick, quiet visits. Landscapes are well maintained, and often considered highlights among local and area garden clubs. No two houses in this neighborhood are the same. There are no "tract homes", and the neighborhood boasts the presence of at least four resident architects! Each home is custom built, and landscaped in keeping with the grounds and surrounding areas adjacent to golf course at the Columbia Country Club. Fairway Suite, L.L.C., is easy access from Interstate 70, East and West, Old Highway 63, Highway 63 North and South, and in very close proximity to the main, wide street of Columbia named "Broadway." Within three blocks of the Fairway Suite is Business Loop 70 East and a main artery to Providence Road running to the University of Missouri campus in the south and Columbia to the north. The location is also in close proximity to Boone Hospital Center, Columbia Orthopedic Group, University of Missouri Women's and Children's Hospital, and the Truman VA Medical Center. The University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics is within 10 minutes of this location, and very accessible to services provided there. Public bus transportation is available nearby if needed with regular business routes running. Local taxi service is available, and the Hosts will be glad to assist if such transportation needs are needed. Off-street parking is available, as well as limited parking in the main driveway of the Hosts residence. The property is protected with an alarm system, and a strong neighborhood watch program. Being in close proximity to the Columbia Country Club (Columbia's original Club!), 18-holes of challenging golf, the house is situated in a lovely old neighborhood in Columbia, convenient to Stephens Lake Park, Stephens Stables, Stephens College, Boone Hospital Center, Columbia College, and the heart of downtown Columbia and Business District as well as the Art District. Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol, developed with expert guidance is committed to and followed. High-touch surfaces are sanitized down to the doorknobs. Cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies are used when cleaning the Suite. Wearing protective gear while cleaning to prevent cross-contamination is an important aspect of the cleaning and sanitizing protocol. Checklists are followed when cleaning the Suite and extra cleaning supplies are provided so that the Guest can clean as they stay. Local public health laws, safety and cleaning guidelines are followed as part of our compliance program to ensure every Guest has a safe and enjoyable stay.
