Welcome to my farmhouse in the edge of Golden Circle. My two-bedroom apartment is the perfect spot for a peaceful stay. A small church is right outside the house. Hot spring Hrunalaug - 5 min walk (1,5 km) Secret Lagoon - 5 min drive (4 km) The village Flúðir - 5 min drive (3 km) Gullfoss - 30 min drive (31 km) Geysir - 25 min (29 km) The space The apartment was renewed early 2023. The two bedrooms feature comfortable queen size beds and one foldable guest bed ( I only put it out if I have 5 guests, please ask for it if you are fewer but still want it). The kitchen is equipped with the necessary amenities for your cooking needs (light meals), including kitchen utensils, a stove and fridge. Note there is no oven! You can enjoy meals or hang out by a neat kitchen table. The bathroom is comfortable with a walk-in shower. Enjoy a relaxing shower after a long day. Note that there is no “living room” in the apartment but the rooms (especially the other) is quite spacious. Guest access The apartment is located in the basement (partly under ground) of a family house. The entrance is shared (we don’t use it much) but access to the entire apartment will be fully private. Other things to note A friendly dog (icelandic sheepdog, Vísa)) and a cat (Valdimar) live in the house. They will not be in your space but can be found strolling around the farm. Our horses and sheep are also close by.
