Completely remodeled 1920’s home in the Strathmore neighborhood of Syracuse. The property is centrally located near a beautiful park with biking and running trails. Located minutes to downtown, close to Community General and Upstate Hospital’s, and ten minutes to Syracuse University. The owners live in the other half of the home, enjoy hosting guests, and meticulously maintaining the property. The house is a side-by-side duplex with 1700 sq ft. on each side with separate front/back entrances. The space The home has four bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. The entire home has been renovated except for the basement and attic. Guests will not have access to the attic as it is unfinished and the basement is equipped with a washer and dryer. The home is over 100 years old and the basement can at times be cold and damp. There is a laundry chute from the second floor bathroom directly to the basement/laundry area. Guest access Guests can enter and exit at their convenience with a keypad at the front door. The back door leads to a screened-in porch and small patio garden. There is a backyard and outdoor patio table but we ask that guests coordinate ahead of time if they would like to use the backyard patio area as owners live on the other side and typically use the backyard regularly. Other things to note The owners live in the other side of the duplex (317) and have 3 children. While the properties are separate, the backyard is shared. Guests may see children playing in the backyard or occasionally hear the owners outside. For our security and the security of our guests, there outdoor cameras installed on the front and back of the property. We use these cameras to monitor weather when we are out of town and also any security issues regarding the property. We are a family friendly property and love hosting guests with children. As a family we love to travel and have tried to make our air bnb very kid-friendly. We have equipped the air bnb with children's toys and books (in closet under the stairs) and we have a stroller guests are free to borrow anytime! We also have an infant tub, high chair, and pack-n-play for any guests with babies.
