The steps to the beach are shared between our two neighbours. Other things to note Polruan is built on a steep hill, with colourful houses sheltering on the leeward side of a small peninsula, with the estuary as its focus. Charmingly, the street is too narrow for cars. You can drop off your stuff at the bottom of the street then there is free parking (for one car) in the village car park, otherwise £30 a week
