It features a cozy small gas stove for cooking, and two private rooms to ensure your comfort and privacy during your stay. Please note that you'll need to bring your own camping gear, including mosquito nets, inflatable mattresses, and bed covers or sheets as if you were to camp inside the cabin . While there is no refrigerator available, at an additional cost ( gas ) we offer a small power generator, should you need it for charging devices or other essentials. Embrace the simplicity of nature in this cabin, designed as a safe and inviting space for you to unwind and enjoy the great outdoors. It’s the ideal retreat to connect with nature and create lasting memories. Guest access The cabin is nestled within a picturesque 21 hectare property, located just 2 kilometers from the access point at the Quebrada Honda de Mora Bridge, which is situated in ciudad colon only 4.5 kilometers from the center of the town , considered part of San José. It's conveniently only 45 minutes from San José Airport. The journey to the cabin features an entrance from the Quebrada Honda bridge , driving 1.2 kilometers to parking space then hiking 1 kilometer through a partially paved road, accessible by cuadra ciclo , horse o by walking to the entrance gate. From there, you'll need to carry your personal belongings 400 meters to the camping site / cabin, so we recommend traveling light with a backpack and a sleeping bag to this unique remote camping location. Other things to note You have the option for self-guided exploration or guided help upon request. I can provide the assistance of José, a local who was born and raised in these majestic mountains. His family has deep roots in this land, having worked with sugar cane and a trapiche for generations. Now, he maintains the property and would be delighted to assist you during your stay for a reasonable tip fee. José's extensive knowledge of the area makes him an excellent resource to enhance your experience and help you discover the wonders of this beautiful landscape!
