Truly special Normandy farmhouse

Unwind and feel restored in this very special, recently renovated farmhouse. The classic features and charm have been preserved whilst integrating modern style and comfort. From phone chargers ready for you under the sofa to the open fire-place whilst dining, our home is a place of restoration, calm and also practicality. The space We hope that the photos will provide you with a great sense of the space. Running from left to right when you look at the house, on the ground floor we have a salon, the second entrance area with the toilet, hand washing area and laundry, the dining room with windows on both sides, the kitchen, the main entrance area with space for your shoes and coats, and finally the large 72m2 sejour. This opens out directly onto our patio, with an outdoor sofa and large eating space where you can enjoy cooking on our coal barbecue Weber Performer. There is also access to the barn where there is a ping pong table, although please note that this second barn is not renovated so is very rustic! Upstairs on the left side of the house, we have a double bedroom with a bathroom. Please note there are two locked door on this side of the house which leads to a room that is not available for guests as it is where we store all of our personal belongings. There are no photos of this room on the listing so everyone noted on the listing is available to you! There is another staircase on the right side of the house leading to three more bedrooms plus the mezzanine living space. Here we also have games for children including a highly popular ball pit! Finally, we have the little house / gite 30 seconds walk from the main house, which is currently one large bedroom and an ensuite. Guest access The guests have access to all areas mentioned and photographed on the listing. Other things to note We want you to have a wonderful time in our home and will leave a welcome kit with tea, coffee, salt, pepper and olive oil. There is a guide to the area ready in the house on your arrival and a little recipe book of our favourites. Our towels and bedding are good quality and we have to think of practical ways to make your stay as comfortable as possible, such as chargers under the sofa etc. We have tried to set up the house as a "plug and play" Airbnb that provides everything you need, and minimizes where our personal things are (we have labelled any of the cupboards not for guest use and provided alternative spaces). We ask that our guests respect this, and keep things that we can provided where they are (for example not moving any of the chargers etc) so that we can keep the spirit of the house about generosity of spirit and trust!
