Truly special Normandy farmhouse

Unwind and feel restored in this very special, recently renovated farmhouse. The classic features and charm have been preserved whilst integrating modern style and comfort. From phone chargers ready for you under the sofa to the open fire-place whilst dining, our home is a place of restoration, calm and also practicality. The space We hope the photos give you a good idea of the space. From left to right when you look at the house, on the ground floor, we have a living room, the second entrance with the toilet, a laundry room with toilet, the dining room with windows on both sides, the kitchen, the main entrance with space for your shoes and coats, and finally the large 72 m2 living room. This opens directly onto our patio, with an outdoor sofa and a large dining area where you can enjoy our Weber Performer charcoal barbecue. There is also access to the barn where there is a ping pong table, a gym area with 4 yoga mats and a weight rack, although this second barn is not renovated and is therefore very rustic! Upstairs, on the left of the house, we have a double bedroom with a bathroom. Please note that there are two locked doors on this side of the house that lead to a room not available for guests as this is where we store all our personal belongings. There are no photos of this room in the listing, so everything in the listing is available to you! There is another staircase on the right side of the house leading to three other bedrooms as well as a mezzanine living area. Here we also have children's games, including a very popular ball pit! Finally, we have the small house/cottage 30 seconds' walk from the main house, which is currently a large bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Guest access The guests have access to all areas mentioned and photographed on the listing. Other things to note We hope you have a wonderful stay in our home and we will leave a welcome kit with tea, coffee, salt, pepper and olive oil. A guide to the area is ready in the house upon arrival as well as a small recipe book of our favorite dishes. Our towels and sheets are of good quality and we have thought of practical solutions to make your stay as comfortable as possible, such as chargers under the sofa, etc. We have tried to prepare the house as a "plug and play" Airbnb that provides everything you need, and minimizes the presence of our personal belongings (we have labeled closets that are not intended for guests and provided alternative spaces). We ask our guests to respect this and leave the things we have provided where they are (for example, not to move the chargers, etc.) so that we can preserve the spirit of generosity and trust that reigns in the house!
