Moonrise Lodge is a secluded, large family vacation home near Yosemite. It has 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 12. With a backup generator, it ensures uninterrupted power. The lodge sits on 14 acres, offering mountain views, a spacious kitchen, and a backyard. The game room features a full-size arcade machine with over 300 games. It's located 15 miles from Mariposa and 49 miles from Yosemite National Park via Arch Rock Entrance. Perfect for family reunions and holiday gatherings. The space Guests have access to the entire home except for a couple of locked storage closets. There is a game room, loft, and plenty of outside space to hang out and relax. Moonrise Lodge is on a 14 acre property located in the Sierra National Forest and is surrounded by manzanita, sugar pines, and cedars, the ground blanketed with aromatics of bear clover. Frequented by hummingbirds, quail, deer, turkey, and raccoons, Moonrise Lodge provides the nature lover with ample opportunities to soak in the flora and fauna, the perfect choice for your Yosemite vacation rental. For winter access, there is a backup generator connected directly to the home. Flashlights are available for guest use in the kitchen. California CHP requires all vehicles to carry chains during the winter months. The roads to the home are plowed to the driveway. The fully-stocked large kitchen is complete with all the necessities, stainless steel pots/pans and everything you need to cook your favorite meals. We love our coffee! We offer a Kurig, French Press, and a coffee maker with complimentary locally roasted coffee. The walk-in pantry is located next to the kitchen for extra storage. Equipped with granite countertops and a kitchen island, the perfect place to prepare a hearty breakfast or a picnic lunch for your day of exploring Yosemite. The sliding glass door leads to a back deck with an outdoor dining table and a propane grill. Dine in the formal dining room, have breakfast in the kitchen nook, or take your sandwich out to the front or back deck to enjoy the natural beauty and sounds of nature. Downstairs is a common space, 2.5 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, a craft room, an office space with a workstation including a full-size futon and a family room with sleeper sofa for additional guests. Each room is comfortable with access to a private or shared bathroom. Bedroom 1, is a private master suite, with a king size bed and its own entrance out to the back deck. Connected to the master suite is a large bathroom with a soaking bathtub with a breathtaking view of the trees, walk-in shower and dual sinks. Bedroom 2, has incredible mountain views, a king bed, a closet and a minifridge. Bedroom 3, includes a queen bed, closet and a minifridge with enough room for a rollaway bed. The craft room includes a double bed, deck access with mountain views, and closet. The family room is spacious and stocked with books, games, a TV, Amazon Fire Stick, and WIFI. The large laundry room includes a washer and dryer for guest use, spacious counters, and a utility sink. The loft is equipped with a large family room, two queen beds and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. For your comfort, Moonrise Lodge has two thermostats which control central heating and air. Additionally, there is a beautiful, gas fireplace in the living room. Guest access You have full and private access to all the rooms in the home, minus a few locked storage closets. Rooms include game room, laundry room, large kitchen pantry, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, craft room, dining room, family room, loft, and office.
