Located in a private home in a quiet residential area with public transport nearby (5 minute walk), 20 minutes’ walk to the city center, and 15 minutes by taxi to the airport. You'll share a clean bathroom with a respectful female dance professional who is also living on the first floor. Thoughtful extras and a calm, stylish space make your stay easy and comfortable. The space This quiet and cozy private room (9 m²) is on the first floor of an authentic 1930s home in a peaceful residential street. Strategically located between the city center and the High Tech Campus, and just around the corner from a beautiful green area — the best of all worlds! The room is bright, clean, and creatively styled, with a comfy bed, fast WiFi, and a small table. You'll share a spacious, clean bathroom with one respectful female dance professional who lives in the second upstairs room. Just outside your room is a small shared hallway with a fridge, microwave, kettle, dishes, and thoughtful extras like tea, napkins, an umbrella, hairdryer and even band-aids. The host lives downstairs and enjoys welcoming guests in person when possible. Self check-in is also available via an outside key location if needed. Whether you're here for work, study, or a short getaway, this space offers a calm, comfortable, and great-value stay in a peaceful location. Guest access Guests enter through the front door and go up the stairs via the hallway to the first floor. There’s a small landing with a view of the garden at the back, which gives access to the Airbnb room and the bathroom. lf you have heavy or big luggage that might be difficult to bring up the stairs, this might not be the right accomodation for you. You’ll have your private room, plus shared use of the spacious bathroom and the small hallway area, which includes a fridge, microwave, kettle, plates, cutlery, and some thoughtful extras like an umbrella, hairdryer, luggage weigher, and even band-aids! During your stay As your host, l live downstairs while the guest rooms are upstairs. I'm happy to say hello, offer tips about the area, or even give you a short tour of the neigbourhood if you'd like. I speak fluent English, Dutch, and German — and I’m also quite creative with hand geastures if needed 😅 That said, you're just as welcome to enjoy your privacy and do your own thing. Guests often comment on the calm, personal atmosphere and how comfortable and clean everything is and feels.
