The space This luxury one-bedroom apartment accommodates up to two guests and enjoys views overlooking Whitehaven’s historic harbour. Located within a modern apartment building, it is ideal for couples, solo travellers and professionals visiting or working in the area. The comfortable bedroom includes a double bed and storage for clothes and personal belongings. Bed linen, bath towels and hand towels are provided for your stay. Large windows fill the open-plan kitchen and living area with natural light, creating a bright and spacious place to relax. The living area includes a comfortable sofa, Wi-Fi and a Smart TV, allowing guests to sign in to their own streaming accounts. The modern kitchen is well equipped for both short and extended stays, with an oven, induction hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washer-dryer, cookware, utensils and crockery. The bathroom includes a bath with an overhead shower, offering guests the option of a relaxing soak or a convenient shower. A small starter supply of toilet rolls, washing-up liquid, hand soap, kitchen roll, laundry capsules and dishwasher tablets is provided. The apartment benefits from lift access within the building and a private parking space beneath the apartment complex, making arrival with luggage straightforward. The harbour, town centre, restaurants, shops and The Beacon Museum are all within easy walking distance. Whitehaven also provides a convenient base for exploring the Cumbrian coast and the western Lake District. Guest access Guests will have private use of the entire apartment, including the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area. The apartment is accessed through a communal building entrance using a secure entry code. Keys to the apartment are provided through a lockbox. Both the building-entry code and lockbox code will be shared approximately 24 hours before check-in, once the required identity verification, rental agreement and £150 security-deposit pre-authorisation have been completed. Guests may also use the building’s communal lift. A private parking space beneath the apartment complex is included with the stay, with parking instructions and the allocated space details provided before arrival. Other things to note Before check-in, the booking guest must complete identity verification, accept our rental agreement and provide a refundable £150 security deposit through our secure guest portal. The deposit is processed separately as a card pre-authorisation. It may appear as a pending transaction, but the money is not normally taken from your account. It will only be charged where necessary following damage or a breach of the disclosed house rules or rental terms. The pre-authorisation will be released after checkout when no charge is required. The time taken for the pending transaction to disappear will depend on the guest’s bank. Check-in instructions will be provided once all required pre-arrival steps have been completed.
