Located in the sought after neighborhood of Blue Lake Springs, this recently fully renovated ski chalet home with rich wood paneling throughout, a vaulted ceiling, and updated interior finishes, is the perfect blend of style and modern comfort. Home includes luxururious features such as AC/heating units in each room, and an attached parking garage. Community includes 2 private lakes, swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball court, kids playground, etc. Book now for your perfect vacation getaway. The space 1st floor has an open floor plan living room with vaulted ceiling offering a welcoming gathering space centered around a wood-burning stove. Plenty of cozy seating options: couch, bean bag, floor cushions, rug, etc. Kitchen, dining, laundry, master suite, half bath, access to garage and patio deck are also located on the main floor. 2nd floor has an open loft space, 2 bedrooms, and a full bathroom. The spacious deck has a dining table overlooking gorgeous pine trees and the sunset. Additional lounge chairs can be found in the closet (located next to the half bath). There are beach towels, floaties, and sand toys available to use. Guest access Guest has access to the entire cabin. We have some closets/cabinets/drawers marked and locked for personal use. Blue Lake Springs HOA facilities is for the exclusive use of guests within their community (guest fees apply). Amenities include 2 private lakes Fly-In Acres and Snowflake, swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, kids playground, restaurant, etc. Other things to note This is our beloved home away from home. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. We kindly ask that you treat our place and belongings with respect. Below are some additional details that will make your stay as smooth as possible: ✔ RENTAL AGREEMENT: Guests are required to sign a rental agreement within 24 hours of booking ✔ TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN: Those traveling with children are advised to watch them carefully in and around the cabin. Wood-fire burning oven is extremely hot to the touch when in use. Two story cabin with stairs leading to an open loft on the second floor. Do not lean against loft and deck banisters as a safety precaution. ✔ WOOD BURNING STOVE AND BBQ: Burning wood/coal and hot ashes are a fire danger. When using the wood burning stove, please note that hot ashes is a fire danger. When using barbecue grill, hot coal and hot ashes are also a fire danger. Avoid using the grill during high wind. Please proceed with caution. ✔ AC/HEATING: Please do not use the electric coil heating units on the lower walls. The cabin has mini-split units (wall mounted HVAC system) installed in the living room and all of the bedrooms. ALL of the units need to be in the same mode: either cooling or heating. When in use, keep the mini-split (HVAC) system running continuously to optimize its efficiency. ✔ NO SHOES INSIDE: In order to maintain certain level of cleanliness for all of our guests (many of whom travel with small children), we kindly ask the guests to remove their shoes before entering the cabin. ✔ CELL RECEPTION: Cell-phone reception around Arnold is spotty, except Verizon. To ensure a smooth stay: • Write down door code • Download offline map or write down driving instructions prior to departure • Enable WiFi calling ✔ TOILET: The cabin runs on septic tank system. Only toilet papers can be flushed down the toilet. Please NO baby wipes, cleaning wipes, feminine hygiene products, trash, paper towels, etc. ✔ POWER OUTAGE: Mountain living sometimes means loss of power (esp during peak weekend or extreme weather). We can do our best to update you with information from PG&E. Please be patient. ✔ WILDLIFE: Living in nature means living amongst wildlife (bears, deers, etc.). Do not leave food out around the cabin, nearby open windows and doors, or in your car. ✔ CANCELLATION: We do not allow refunds for cancellations for weather-related issues, ie. snow. Please take weather into consideration when booking. We will allow for refunds only when the cabin is not accessible in the event of road closures. ✔ TRAVEL DURING HEAVY SNOW: During heavy snow, all wheel drive vehicles or snow chains are advised. ✔ SECURITY CAMERA: We have 24/7 video/audio security cameras on the exterior of the property and in the garage. ✔ GUESTS: Only guests on the reservation are allowed to reside on the property. ✔ CLEANING FEE: The cleaning fee covers basic cleaning, including floor, kitchen, bathrooms, towels, linens, etc. Additional fees will be charged for trash removal ($25), excessive mess (stains on any furnitures and carpets, dirty dishes, etc.)
