Soak in the outdoor bath beneath the open sky with a book, wine while enjoying life’s simple pleasures We are situated near the old market town of Uppingham steep in history a short drive from beautiful Rutland Water where you can take part in water sports, walk and bird watch. Uppingham is full of independent shops and a traditional market on a Friday - there are many pubs and restaurants to choose from Woodcutters Cabin In the main living space there are two designer velvet sofas a log burning stove with a basket full of wood for your use A dinning table for cozy nights in and a hand made one of a kind kitchen with sink, fridge, oven and hob with a Welsh dresser full of everything you might need to cook the perfect supper ! We try and include as much as we can to make life simple - Loo roll, cleaning products, tea, coffee, sugar and milk, tea towels are all included The shower room has a shower, sink and loo, bath mats, hand towels and bath towels are also included along with hand soap Moving through into the bedroom this is inspired by sustainability and trees, when we had to fell some trees we re used them to create the bunk beds which hover over the main king size bed - the cabin is perfect for romantic getaways and family trips alike. We’ve had many a proposal here !! Please contact me if you need to make it extra special We really love dogs here and we welcome them in Woodcutters cabin please ensure you bring their bedding - while i understand some dogs sleep on sofas and beds please bring clean blankets or throws to protect our furniture Please also ensure you pick up poo we have children visit and for H&S its imperative it is cleaned up The garden is fenced with pig net and there are some gaps under gates so very small dogs will escape if left unattended its important you watch your dogs 🐶 **please note the cabin is not suitable for under 7 year olds In times of dry weather the use of BBQ’s and fire wont be allowed to protect our building, farm land and wildlife have you seen our other cabin listed on air b&b 'The Reading Room' Guest access You have a very large fenced area which is enclosed for children and dogs to play in the garden you have a fire pit with tripod bbq the decked area has a table and seating under the oak tree near the car parking area there is a badminton net and swing ball also your welcome to access the meadow at the bottom which looks incredible earlier on in the year Other things to note DUE TO THE HOT WEATHER WE HAVE TO SAY NO TO BBQ'S AND OUTSIDE FIRES TO PROTECT OUR FARM AND WILDLIFE please note the cabin is not suitable for under 7 year olds If you are bringing a dog or 2 please bring their beds and please advise if your bringing a dog or not I understand some of our dog friend sleep on sofas and beds please provide them with a clean throw to do this
